Economy Lube and Tire

Very friendly, found out my oil drain plug was stripped by last shop that did My oil change, they replaced it for no charge and advised that my tires were close to wear indicator so needed new tires. They gave me quote on tires which was a great price! I ended up booking appointment for new tires and got my oil change thrown in. I totally recommend this establishment for these needs. Honest, great value for your money!! Great place!!

Honestly Economy Lube and Tire has been nothing short short of amazing. I have never had a single problem with anyone working there. Everyone has always been super friendly and nice. I’ve gone multiple times now for general questions, new battery, new tires, oil changes, and the staff has been nothing but kind and respectful. Everyone there is very honest and will tell you if they do see any problems with your car (which I like) and all the problems I had to get fixed I had when I bought the car and I have not had any problems resulting from any work they’ve done on my car. I was recommended to come here by a friend and would recommend it to anyone else. Amazing service!

The people working at this Guelph location were wonderful. I showed up 15 minutes before closing on a Saturday with a fast leak in a tire. I had a 4 hour drive ahead of me. Not only were they friendly and courteous they fixed the tire and had me back on the road in no time. As a woman travelling alone this level of service is greatly appreciated. They deserve your business.

It was a very rainy day and my windshield wiper broke. I pulled into this Economy Lube to purchase some new windshield wipers. The store front was very clean and I was welcomed by a friendly gentleman. He got me my windshield wipers and installed them. When it came time to pay, they wouldn’t take any money. I was floored. What generosity. Definitely going there for my next oil change!

I went in for an oil change & suddenly it turned into my car needing many other unnecessary repairs done. I declined all other services after being asked multiple times to consider letting them perform them. When I took my car to the mechanic who typically performs all my car maintenance , I had two mechanics there tell me my back brakes were completely fine after Economy Lube told me they were so worn down and needed replaced. I felt like they were trying to take advantage of the fact I am a young female with little mechanical knowledge, just to make extra money. I don’t recommend.

Shop was very responsive and helpful in a pinch. We noticed our tire pressure was dropping. We got off the highway and stopped here. The owner on staff dropped everything to help us. They assessed and reassured us that the tire pressure was ok and we were safe to continue driving. We would highly recommend their service without any reservation!

The staff was very polite and honest. They had great advice for the type of oil to use for a road trip. Great pricing for university students.However, they will overprice you on any other service. Please get these services elsewhere.

Great service. Good prices. Quick, efficient, informative, friendly and thoughtful. Dylan and his brother were both fantastic. Did also get a transmission fluid and air filter change.

Beware !!!! This place will scam you with unnecessary services. I went for oil changes two times and each time they said I needed a transmission flush and new brakes, front and back. I took my car to a reputable mechanic shop and paid for a full brake inspection service and was told my brakes are fine. I highly warn everyone to get a second opinion before agreeing to anything!!!!Best to take your car somewhere else for oil changes altogether. Just awful.
