We decided to go here for the Chinatown dining week special they were advertising. After making the drive over during regular business hours, their door was locked and nobody would let us in or come talk to us. Several others were waiting outside as well, none of whom knew what was going on. Needless to say, after 10 mins of waiting and leaving 2 calls with no answer, we left. Especially considering that they had a large neon ‘OPEN’ sign on their window and several people visibly eating inside, we were very confused and upset. Would it not be too much to ask an employee to put a note on the window explaining why they aren’t open?

There are a lot of pho restaurants in town, but this one you should definitely try. I think it’s not the best pho for Vietnamese, but to me it is the top three pho place to go. When you first walk into store, you will be realized it is a 30 years old restaurant. The decoration is little bit old fashion. The size of the food is not too big, but delicious. By the way, it is cash only, you’d better bring some cash for sure. Otherwise you need to pay extra for ATM withdraw. There are two special combo after 3pm. Combo A comes with pop and combo B comes with ice coffee, that’s the only two difference between the combo it’s 18.99. Usually not so busy, and they close pretty early. My best suggestion is to call before hand because they don’t always open on google hours.

Three things that stood out to me were the freshness of herbs and veges on the side, quality of meat, and overall cleanliness within. Keep in mind my feedback might be due in part to personal preference and circumstantial factors so I'd still recommend everyone give it a try. Will definitely return if I get the opportunity and update my review should circumstances change.

I haven't been here for a long time because of covid. I finally have a chance to order 2 XL noodle to take out. They still remember us ❤️.The soup noodle is still taste very good, it's light, perfect balance, yet tasteful. I can taste the richness of the beef bone too. I usually eat without adding any sauce, the soup itself is already tasty so why putting any ugly ingredients.The herbs they gave me is not so fresh (it can be improve), I like to eat with bean sprout and other leafy greens plus lemon and fresh chilli, that's why I like the herbs to be freshBefore covid, we sometimes visit and notice the taste of the soup is not so strong as usual (I don't know why). Right now, the soup taste is just perfecto. (I will update if there's any change).I ordered 2 XL for my family of 5, (cost around $43): 3 children under 10 years old and 2 adult (it's perfect size for everyone and everyone is full).The amount they gave is very generous (see photos)!Bless them for their generosity ❤️.

Best place in Edmonton hands down. The broth here is the most amazing I've ever had. The spring rolls are homemade and tasty. Will come here again and again. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

This was a big disappointment. Pho broth was too beefy and flat. No notes of flavor. Even a lot of added fish sauce didn't save it. The portions were small. Got the #2 special. Comes with 2 very small spring rolls that tasted store bought and 2 meatballs that were over cooked. The meat in the pho was very little, (half a meatball in the whole thing, a tiny bit of tripe). Lots of noodles, but they were thick and bland. Service was prompt but sparse. Both servers of the food never said a word when spoken to and I was never check up on even though I was the only one in the restaurant. I wasn't offered any water either. I hope they are able to improve these things.

My friend and I went exploring for Chinatown Dining Week. We decided to try the King Noodle Pho Hoang. I had combo B with the bun bo hue noodles, spring rolls, pork sausage and Vietnamese coffee. My friend ask for beef noodle pho instead of Bun Bo Hue because she can't handle spicy food. I was so disappointed in my pho, the broth was so bland and tasteless. Like it was watered down. Where's the lemongrass and spice? The same for the broth of the beef noodle pho. Bland, no flavor and tasted watered down. The spring rolls were basic, the house made pork sausage were good, on the sweeter side. They do have a good clientele, which I am happy to see, all the tables were full. Really wished my pho lived up to the good reviews.

Only take cash. But it’s worth. The broth is very rich and fat like they boiled it for a week.Best pho in edmonton perhaps.I always try to come to this place whenever I visit Edmonton.

I had arrived an hour and a half before closing but considering the speed of which your food is served allows for a quick and delicious meal. The restaurant itself is not super spacious, however there's many seats and tables to choose from. From a table for two to a table for six, allowing couples or families to eat accordingly. I would recommend this pho restaurant not only because of the calming environment accompanied by soothing music, but also because the meals that are served are spectacular. I will absolutely be coming back.
