Effective meetings, always on topic. Allan is a great communicator, knows how to explain the bogus world of accounting in simple terms, and prioritizes the important elements one at a time so I don't get overwhelmed. Xero, the accounting platform he's using is also a breeze to use; just make sure you spend the time to get comfortable with it - ask Allan for tips/hacks along the way - it does make life easier for everyone involved! I run a health-tech startup

Allan sorted through several years of returns for me, with a mix of freelance work and full time work at different times. He optimized everything and I was quite pleased with the amount of money I got back from the government. But the most valuable thing by far was the peace of mind.

After trying different accountants over the years, I came across Allan and AF accounting through a google search and was immediately impressed by how responsive, organized and knowledgeable he was. You get what you pay for. I may have paid a bit less elsewhere but that always resulted in an assessment down the line. He handled my multiple T4s, different tuitions, business expenses and various tax credits like a pro and all I had to do was upload my documents to Dropbox! Anytime anyone asks if I have a good accountant, I’m finally able to refer them to Allan.

Very much satisfied with their service. Allan and the team have been taking care of my business and personal tax since 2011. Always stay on top of everything. Although I am in BC, the geographical and time difference doesn't matter at all. I can simply focus on developing my business without worrying about any tax or accounting issues.

Been using AF Accounting for years now to help manage the books for my Amazon-based private label business. They are always quick to respond, happy to dig deeper on questions, and all around polite and pleasant to deal with. If you're an Amazon seller then there's the added bonus that they know the A2X program well - which is uncommon. All in all, I highly recommend!

Allan really feels like part of the team!We're a small skincare company in Montreal (just me & my wife for now).We've gone through two other accountants: the first was very old-school and also couldn't give us a clear answer on anything. Allan makes you feel like you're the CEO or President of Coca Cola. He is considerate, answers super fast, has a lot of empathy, will answer you in less than 48 hours. We're just a start up, and we get treated so royally. Best part is how he's tech-oriented, digital signature, all is done via computer which saves so much times and is super awesome.
