Great branch. I had a terrible experience at the Bay and Bloor branch with rude service and this branch couldn’t have been better.The teller Tennyson was super helpful, friendly, thorough and they were able to get me the USD I was looking to withdraw.I would definitely recommend anyone to use this branch.

This could quite possibly be the worst bank I've ever been to. Slow, inefficient, ignorant. Most times it takes two tellers to do the job of one. Long wait times to do the simple of tasks.This is located in the financial district. This two teller location is not well suited here. There is never two tellers, the one is always closed.This HSBC is pathetic.

Accidentally went in late for my appointment but Zahra was extremely understanding and helpful in setting up my account. She was wonderful to speak to and was informative and quick in preparing the materials needed to open my account. It was a very pleasant experience.

Could I give zero stars instead? This is by far the worst HSBC branch I've ever experienced. I first came to this branch to due to the convenient location. The staff if slow and incompetent, which is completely different than my home branch. Worst customer service and will not be returning for any banking matters.

Could be the consistently worst banking experiences I have ever had. So much is wrong with their customer support in Toronto. From their lack of downtown locations to their long lineups, to their extremely short banking hours, ... I could go on.It is unfortunate that they just do not know how to run a bank that deals with customers.

This is what I wrote to the bank Webpage. They have a page to make appointments, but no one responds.In addition, no e-mail provided to contact a person. Trying to book an appointment on the phone is only for people with hours and hours to waste and an immense amount of patience to gladly suffer the mockery.This my third attempt to book an appointment at this branch with no response. I am copying the manager so they can understand the quality of the service.I would welcome a customer satisfaction survey."I cannot copy to the manager because the e-mail is not available online"

Horrible customer services surprisingly from the teller manager initial JC,Please hire more quality people that know how to give good customer service and more importantly train your employees well before you promote them.If I have an option to put 0 star, I will gladly to rate this branch for it.

I dont normally write reviews but the customer service from the branch manager Derek Richardson was truly above and beyond. I came in a bit before closing and he stayed late calling the main office multiple times and having many frustrating conversions to make sure my issue was solved. I was really going to leave HSBC but thanks to him I have decided to keep my account

Why does HSBC even have this branch? The employees don’t even open the branch at 9am, hire some more competent employees who would open on time.The branch and employees at 70 York St. are amazing. Wouldn’t waste my time anymore at this location although I live just right by this location.

Service was good. They only have two desks for tellers so service can be slow. To be fair I don't expect much from actually needing to walk into a bank, I've never had fast" service at a bank. But they handled my weird request quick enough and helped me out with some issues on my account I was unaware of."
