I can wholeheartedly vouch for their core value being quality. Among the freshest and tastiest sashimi I’ve ever had. Chewing was optional as everything just melted in my mouth. Will come back again and again.

Kabuki Downtown is a world class sushi experience with a Calgary Vibe. Their bottomless Green Tea heals the Soul. The Prawn Scallop Mushroom Onion Appie is Heaven on earth. All the fish is perfectly prepared. Love this joint. GO!

Went there for lunch, and it was amazing. The service was great. He noted that we were going to order miso soups (which were delicious) on our menu (one your write on) and brought them before we actually ordered. The sushi rolls were delicious and fresh. The tempura scallops were melt in your mouth.It gets busy in there at lunchtime and we were out in under an hour (arrived at 11:30). I'm upset I didn't come here sooner. It's a bit pricier than some places but the quality is definitely worth it.

A very elegant restaurant with a wide variety of sushi and alike dishes. Service was friendly, the food was very delicious and well presented. I came in just after the lunch rush, so it was a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

What a great place to eat sushi! Friendly staff, efficient service and delicious food. I would've taken a pic but I started eating as soon as my food was delivered. Would highly recommend!

I've been eating sushi with Hiro and his team back from the Penny Lane days, hands down my favourate sushi restaurant ever! The staff is amazing, the seafood is fresh, the rolls are unique and the Sapporo is ice cold, what more do you want? Side note: If you ever get a chance to attend a private sushi making class with the Kabuku team, I highly recommend it. A lot of fun, especially when Hiro pulls his guitar off the wall and sings to the crowd,, all about SUSHI!

Excellent sushi and great service. Fairly priced for the quality and portions. Have been here a few times and had a good meal every time. They do tempura perfectly too (normally I'm not a fan, either).

Best sushi in town hands down. I’ve been going here since the name used to be ZEN 8 many years ago and the quality is still very good. My every solo and group experience here has been positive. For the lunch hours it’s a bit busy, but if you want a more quite atmosphere go after 6pm. The quality of the sushi and sashimi here comes close to the premium stuff you get in Japan. The service is also excellent and mostly managed by the brothers who own the locations.

A great experience every time. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food is always fresh and flavorful. I love the creative sushi rolls. Such a great spot!
