Cambridge Place Apartments

My friend lives here, im not necessarily reviewing the building, but sure. Theres a convenience store by the bottom. In this store, there is milk and coffee creamer that has been there for at least a year and is opened. The store also had a small bin near the back, the small bin had OPEN EXACTO- KNIVES in them. Not to mention, when i bought some bracelets there, the packaging was stained, dirty old paper, and it came broken. I found they had a small box of henna, the box was open and USED, yet it is still shown for sale. The lady who serves you isnt nice, half the time she is on the phone or doing something else. I went to buy something there, there was someone behind me who only JUST showed up, i was counting my money to out it back, and she RUSHED ME, as if the customer behind me was in a rush, they had just gotten to the line! The woman there is also not very clear with instructions... Im only rating the store below, but it doesnt come with a seperate location so im reviewing it on this building.p.s sorry for any spelling mistakes

I have been living in the penthouse more than a year now. The place is beautiful. Management is very humble, friendly and work efficient. I love this place.

I live Here!. The building has undergone mass renovations. New laser entry. Outside balconies painted an interesting shade of grey with a tinge of blue. New laundry rooms where you now use debit and credit cards for doing laundry. Everything looks fresh and new now!

Disgusting, dirty place, run by inconsiderate, uneducated, unbothered crooks. Any person with a functioning brain can see that they are over charging beyond belief. You could afford 2 mortgages for the price of a one bedroom unit. Not to mention the 18th, and 16th floors are fully infested with bed bugs. Roaches everywhere. The heating is on for 30 second intervals to save money. Constant break ins to vehicles in the underground garage. This place is really good at putting on a show until you actually move in. Save yourself the headache and avoid ANYTHING FROM REALSTAR! The renovations are a sham and a coverup! The laundry machines are full of bed bugs. NASTY NASTY NASTY

Nice place to live in. Rental office staff are very helpful and co-operative. The property is clean and well maintained. Nearby subway, supermarkets & grocery stores make this building more convenient to live in.

Very good apartments. The location is excellent. Very neat and clean. Staff is very professional and have supportive behavior. Takes care of issues just on one call. Happy to be living here

Let me honest with you. I have lived there with my aunt for 8 months before moving out in January. This is would be the worst place anyone can get.1. On June 2022, I kept my stuff in the storage and few weeks later, everything got stolen. The management don’t have CCTV in that storage place. That’s not it, we have spoken to other residents who told us, they have a racket who steals jewelry and other valuable items from especially South Asian community from their storage and from their home.2. The management is rude and don’t want to take any responsibility. Somewhat they are discriminate with certain part of the community.NEVER GONNA RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I would rather live in crescent town or on be homeless but not on this place. Worst place in whole live danforth, and worst management ever.

Heating issues:I have been staying in this apartment for close to three year and I recently realised a room heating concern. The apartment is a roof heated system where in you cannot control the temperature but just turn on or off (Temperature controlled by management). Which means if the heater of the apartment below is turned off your apartment floor can get cold. Last month the tenants below moved out and I started feeling a little colder (around 21 degrees inside) during extreme temperatures drop downs. On complaining several times to the management, they come, check and mention according to city council 21 to 26 degrees is the right temperature. Basically if you are person who like to stay a warm during winter this is the wrong place to be. On asking the solution, one of the staff advised me that this is Canada and to get a additional heater (for which I will have to bear the additional hydro charges). I was very disappointed and the issue remains unresolved I believe until a new teanant moves in) or the heater of the below apartment is turned on.

We lived here for 3 yrs and the experience was awful. Didn’t had much of a choice to move as it was covid time but I am glad we moved out as soon as we got an opportunity. The management people are rude and aggressive. The building is infested with Bedbugs and cockroaches. Faulty elevators during peak office/school hours , frequent water and electricity shutdown without notice.. Worst security as Multiple cars have been damaged twice in the underground parking area with theft attempt but no accountability taken. No security guards. Please ask these questions to management before deciding to move-in. They will be super friendly before booking and worst after handing over the keys. Also they charge a huge amount while vacating home on account of cleaning charges which is a loot. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

I have lived in this building for 7 months and I love it here. Our unit was fully renovated before we moved in and we love the changes. The property is always very clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and I feel like they truly care about giving the best living experience. We were also given a very reasonable rent of $1625.00 for a junior 1-bedroomMy more accurate score would be 4.5/5 stars because I need to be a squeaky wheel" for repairs to be made. They have an online maintenance request system online. After making the request and waiting 1-2 weeks
