I was originally on the hunt for a BMW X5, and my research led me unexpectedly to this exceptional Lexus dealership. Little did I know that my journey would take an unexpected turn, leading me to discover a level of service that truly sets them apart.Stepping into the showroom, I had the pleasure of meeting an extraordinary salesperson named Sam Shekarabi. From the moment we started talking, I was immediately drawn to his professionalism, knowledge, and transparency. Despite the fact that I was inquiring about a BMW, he graciously entertained my questions and showcased a remarkable understanding of the brand, even though it fell outside his expertise. This level of commitment and willingness to go above and beyond impressed me from the get-go.I was particularly intrigued by the fact that the dealership had a 2021 X5 with the specific features I had been searching for. Sam assured me that the car would undergo a thorough safety inspection and be ready for delivery within five business days. To my surprise and delight, he also took note of some dents and minor scratches on the hood and promised to address them while I was away on vacation. And true to his word, he delivered on that promise without any questions or delays.After using the car for over a week, I noticed an unpleasant AC smell that became increasingly bothersome. Instead of burdening Sam with this issue, I decided to contact Downtown BMW Toronto, expecting a similar level of customer care. Unfortunately, after enduring a significant wait time, I was informed that my problem was a common issue with no guarantee of a resolution from BMW. Feeling slightly disheartened, I turned to Sam for his input on the matter.Without hesitation, Sam immediately offered his support and suggested bringing the car in for a day. He mentioned that the dealership had a machine specifically designed to tackle such issues. Intrigued by his dedication and willingness to help, I entrusted my car to him. The next day, to my delight and relief, the unpleasant smell had completely vanished. Sam's quick action and commitment to resolving the problem left me in awe.This experience begs the question: How is it that a Lexus dealership, specializing in a different brand altogether, could provide me with a superior level of service compared to the actual BMW dealership? It speaks volumes about the integrity of an establishment where customer satisfaction reigns supreme. Having owned multiple BMWs in the past, I can honestly say that my previous experiences have been lackluster and far from brag-worthy. There was no pressure and we genuinely felt at ease and that he wanted us to ensure any decision we made was the right one for us! A rare experience in a very typical sales environment. The management at the dealership thinks unloading cars is more important than someone's life by forcing cyclists to ride into a busy street so they can unload cars in the bike lane. The management will pass it off as the delivery driver's fault but they are fully aware of what is happening and allow this behaviour to occur. I wouldn't trust anyone that works here. They are passing blame and trying to act like they have no control in this situation - they see the delivery trucks and let them park there. They could ask the drivers to move but they choose not too.
