CIBC Branch with ATM

I’ve had multiple issues with multiple associates here. Phone bookings rescheduled then missed all together, requests for banking changes not processed, and delay in receiving application results that were only sent after sending a follow up first. The lack of organization and professionalism to perform basic services has prompted me to begin migrating my banking services to a new institution. I no longer want to pay for subpar services, especially with this CIBC branch. It’s been too many disappointments in a row with multiple individuals over the course of a year.

Terrible service. The fact that the bank's 2FA calling option doesn't even read out 6 numbers is not surprising. Always have to guess that missing digit.

Usually this bank is awesome but they close way to early like today suppose to be opened till 6pm they closed at 5:42pm

I give this branch 0 stars. The financial associates have no clue what they are doing, terrible customer service. Serious lack of communication from the associates. Have had multiple issues with mortgage services, credit consolidation and clearing cheques. My husband and I have been with CIBC for over 20 years and this branch has treated us terribly. Will never be returning to this branch again to do business, we are even considering switching banks once our mortgage is up for renewel. Cibc please spend time training your employees to put the customers first as they are the ones providing the pay checks to the associates and to your company.

THE WORSSSSTTT BANK you can ever go to! They don't know anything and will take your money sneakily without you noticing and then take WEEEKS to give it back and once they do give it back it's not the full amount. They don't answer the phones and you'll be on hold for about 40 mins everytime. I hate this bank

The person I was dealing with had no idea what she was doing, the bank had no business debit cards and she had no idea when they would. She didn’t even know proper procedures and couldn’t answer one simple question. She had someone on hold and then would try and tell me what the person said, but it wasn’t right,. Why didn’t she leave the person on speakerphone, wasted 40 minutes and didn’t get a proper answer on anything. All I wanted to do was open a simple business account. Why was this person that was so incompetent in this position. Unbelievable.

I've been with this bank for thirty years ..I am a disabled woman with isteo in both legs ...and I'm buying a vehicle. Because I deposited through the ATM they decided to hold this money for twenty days without reason ...there's nothing I place here for the disabled who can't stand for long periods of time. Now they know why I financed the vehicle elsewhere. I called the manager to rectify and she ignored my complaint..I've decided since I'm starting a new job and buying my house to take my business elsewhere.

Saturday/Sunday there is no business teller open therefor we are forced to wait in regular customer line. There are only 2 tellers working behind the counter and the wait times are at least 35-40 minutes. I am not able to use the ATM all the time because I need to pick up a coin order for our business. This past Saturday I waited 40 minutes to do banking, There were 2 tellers on and 1 left because it was lunch break, which she is absolutely entitled to have, however someone should be covering that break on the front counter. Today, Monday I go to the bank and the same thing, only today 1 of the 2 employees working was clearly new. Unacceptable wait times, most days.

Extremely poor customer service at the Hamilton Centre mall branch. We travelled from out of town to settle affairs for our Uncle at this, his home branch for +30 yearsThe branch representative could not address the need and directed us to any another branch in the city. He would not even phone another branch on our behalf.We are left to conclude that CIBC is not interested in managing account details and that making the customer do all the work is a good way to serve account holders.

I let them take my money because I don't have many options. They never really asked me, but they allow me to spend what little I have left using a little plastic card they gave me. Fair trade I suppose...
