Got the 30pc sushi platter, 29.99. Great price, even better sushi. May be the freshest tasting sushi I have ever had. Owner is super friendly, overall great restaurant. A hidden gem in Kingston, that should not remain hidden

Had the choose your own platter (7 rolls) for my birthday and it was incredible!! It was our first time trying Kino's and we'll definitely be back! It was some of the best sushi we've ever had! The customer service was also top notch! Highly recommend!

I'm not one to write reviews of anything, but sometimes things are so good you can't help but recognize them. The new nigiri is nothing short of phenomenal. Perfect, tender clouds of glistening rice with soft, succulent slices of salmon, tuna, crab, and shrimp almost levitating on top. It practically dissolves in your mouth, as great nigiri does, letting you fully appreciate the clean, fresh flavours. Nigiri is often overlooked because of the simplicity, but for diehard sushi fans, this is an absolute must-try, and if you've never tried it this is the perfect opportunity. This is the right way to experience it for the first time. I also tried the K-23 Ebi Shrimp Roll, which was obviously fantastic given their mastery of the maki roll.Having driven all the way across town to try their new items, I can say that even if gas went up to $3/liter, I would make the trip again. Not only that, the sushi stayed in immaculate condition on the way home, and was as good as if I had opened the container and ate it in the parking lot (which I was tempted to do). Their attention to quality, and the time it takes to achieve, is truly magnificent.Without question, this is my favourite restaurant in Kingston, and despite being so new on the scene is an easy contender for the best sushi in the city. I cannot give high enough praise to the staff or their product. It was a genuine honour to have been the first person to have ordered the nigiri box, and my only regret is that I didn't think to order two.At $16 for 10 pieces, it is an unprecedented bargain. I guarantee you won't find better nigiri, period, let alone for this ridiculously low price. Once they get online ordering, this place is going to explode.9.5 nigiri / 10

Placed an order to pick up on the way back from doing chores.Incredible bao buns, we should've bought more and froze them (we will be back soon!). The sushi that we had was also great.Extremely nice people running this store as well.

Ordered the 32 pieces (4 rolls) and pork spring rolls. The spring rolls were really good, I would order again. The maki was okay. Presentation was very nice but the fish on top was so thin it was almost see through on some of the pieces. I posted a picture of one of the spicy salmon pieces I had. It was so thin I could barely taste the salmon, and it’s supposed to be a spicy salmon roll! I also got the red tuna roll and it was pretty much the same thing.

Kino’s sushi is delicious and it always tastes super fresh! They have a large menu filled with amazing options! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Best sushi I’ve ever had!!!

This place was highly recommended by a coworker. Ordered the signature platter. 52 prices for 49.99. An amazing deal. Great variety and so fresh. Customer service was also top notch. Will definitely be a regular choice from now on!

We got the Kino's Signature Platter (30 pcs) for $26.99, which is an awesome deal for what you get. Everything was prepared fresh and tasted amazing. The store was clean and tidy which really reflects the quality of the food. I especially loved the peanut butter roll, the tempura gave it a great texture with a depth of flavor. The owner, Nelson, was super friendly - will definitely visit again!
