Amazing. Can't say anything else. Expect an expert coffee loving barista to serve you the best coffee you will ever have!!! I only drink decaf and never have much expectations for them but this decaf was so good! Coffee is reasonably priced and all coffee beans are freshly roasted. He let us try his hot chocolate as well which was phenomenal. Definitely recommend!!

Good coffee, made in house, simple and with the Philosophy of JUST GOOD COFFEE and nothing else I love it! Owner has done much travelling and is very inspired by those travels which of course are part of the coffee making philosophy. You guys need to check this out if you’re walking in the ByWard Market, no seating and no Wi-Fi back to old school 1990s coffee shops

I recommend to get some medium dark roast coffee from here. I loved it. No wonder this place is highly rated in google.The service is the best I have seen. The guy guy who works here really know how to talk and be with customers.I wish they could get some seating area in cafe and also give coffee in cups rather than disposable cups for dine in. There is street parking right outside the cafe so that’s a plus.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the coffee at Opulence, and I have to say that it was truly exceptional! The quality of the coffee was top-notch, and I could really taste the care and attention that went into brewing it. But what really made the experience special was the owner, JP, who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their principled passion for coffee was evident in every interaction we had, and I left feeling energized and inspired. Overall, I can't recommend Opulence highly enough - if you're a coffee lover, this is definitely the place for you!

Best coffee in Ottawa! I was visiting from Calgary for a wedding and glad I randomly walked by Opulence! JP is amazing! Super knowledgeable about coffee with interesting life stories. Loved the customers coming in who are regulars and who shared tips for sights and places to visit and eat at. Loved the vibe of the place and the coffee was delicious so I kept coming back everyday of my stay in Ottawa. Don't miss out! Thanks again JP!

One of the best espresso beans I’ve ever had. My lattes have never tasted better. JP has exceptional customer service, he happily went out of his way to resolve an error that I made with my order - makes ordering from them a smooth experience!

Fantastic espresso. Absolutely zero frills.I got a flat white with whole milk and my partner got a latte with oat milk. I would say the oat milk errs more on the less sweet side. Very strong coffee flavor came through regardless in both drinks.

JP simply has the best coffee and offers the best service in Ottawa!I woke up this morning to the realization I was out my beloved coffee beans! Thankfully JP opens at 8am so I rushed out in the rain and was greeted with a smile and a complimentary hot chocolate shot when he saw my sorry, wet state!Crisis averted and I’m currently enjoying my favourite brew with a smile on my face.If you love coffee - and who doesn’t - do yourself a favour and visit Opulence coffee for an impressive variety of freshly roasted beans and/or a delicious cup of coffee…you won’t regret it!

Great place! The barista really knows what he is doing. I’ve got myself a cup of decaf cappuccino and a bag of dark roast. I was with my daughter and barista gave her a cup of free hot chocolate, which was amazing!!!! Great place to escape the business of life. Thanks!
