Arisaig | Nova Scotia Parks | Park is known for its fascinating geology and fossils; an interpretive kiosk examines highlights of the four million years of earth history found here. Pleasant 1.5 km walking trail through forest, and to shore access. Geocaching opportunities as well as snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Located 27 km (17 miles) north of Antigonish. Arisaig Provincial Park
Beautiful park with nice walking trails and stunning views! The trails themselves are quite short, but if you head down to the beach it's a gorgeous walk. There is a waterfall, slate rocks, fossils and a one of a kind sunset.

It is a great place especially for fossil lovers. Unfortunately we did not stay longer enough to walk to the beach for fossil hunting.

Really enjoyed checking out the seaside trail. Lowkey spot with low traffic. You can stop and hang at the picnic tables, or do a pretty rigorous little hike up around the point.

Beautiful park with great spots to find real fossils. However, pay attention to the tide as you don’t want to be caught by it. We were her before and found great stuff. This time the tide was high so we couldn’t get to the best spots but still found small ones. Jus be patient when turning over the many shale pieces. For the geologists under us, this is a very important spot as it highlights a relatively small sliver of time, only four million years.

Arisaig Provincial Park has lots of picnic tables, washrooms and a beautiful view of the Northumberland Strait and lighthouse view. Taking a drive down to the lighthouse is a must as they sell delicious ice cream and the view of Frenchman's Barn is photo worthy!

Amazing walk along the water and lots of useful information at the interpretive center. I absolutely adore the shore in the Airsag and Malignant Cove area. Bring a camera and bathing suit!

Wonderful location with a calm and collected atmosphere. Not so crowded and a fantastic light house view from the cliff. Beach is awsome with a small waterfall at the side. A cave like structure on the beach side might be a good place to click some snaps✌
