Handsome Dan's Port Renfrew

We stayed in Wit's End #46 and it was awesome. Great location in Port Renfrew, all the amenities we needed for our three night stay.

Stayed at cats pajamas for a couple of nights. Both the indoor and outdoor amenities were very nice! I would strongly consider staying again! Staff keep in good contact, smooth process. It’s not a cheap stay, but I believe it’s worth it. Thanks handsome Dan and the gang!

We rented this little hidden gem so we could go fishing for 2 days in Port Renfrew. It was the cutest little cottage that was decorated very well. It was clean and felt so comfortable being there. We had everything we needed like we'd have in our own home to live. It is as advertised!Hope to be back next summer and stay a little longer :)

We had a fantastic stay at Handsome Dan's (Property #86 The Explorer's Retreat and Bunkhouse). The property was in excellent condition and perfect for our two night stay in Port Renfrew before starting the West Coast Trail. It was nicely furnished and the sauna was a real treat! I appreciated the prompt communication before our arrival, from both Handsome Dan's and the property owners. I would highly recommend Handsome Dan's to anyone travelling in the area!

Cabin Fish Tales #247. Great location! Super close to the marina for those early morning fishing charters. The cabin was very comfortable for a family of five. Ample seating on the patio to enjoy the view and eat meals made on the BBQ with natural gas hookup. Thank you again for having us, and we'll see ya next time!

We stayed at #40 The Cedar Box and are happy with our experience at the cabin. It's clean and tidy and there's no lingering smells of ethnic food just the natural smell of wood. The sheets smelled fresh and the toilet and tub were sparkly clean. The space around the cabin was also well kept. The cabin was quiet at night and the sounds of neighbors having a good time were more like loud whispers. In the morning the sound of the birds singing were just a delight. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat and perhaps stay longer than 2 nights.

Stayed there last week and property is great, centrally located to marina, pub and local store. Their team is great with the communication before, during and after check in. Cabin was just that a cabin with the basics for the kitchen. They only provided 2 towels for a place that slept 6.Unfortunately, we leave with a sour taste as they charged us extra for cleaning as they want you to do all of your own dishes (no dishwasher) and take the garbage down the road. They charge $175 cleaning fee and I'm not sure what that covers if we have to do all of the cleaning ourselves or pay extra. We did a tidy up but had to leave at 5:30am to go fishing and we couldn't get a late check out.As said, very nice people and everything was smooth at check I think we will stay at another place next time even if it costs more as it wasn't any cheaper or convenient in the end when they charge you extra.

This cozy cabin was the perfect retreat for our stay in Port Renfrew. By far the best deck, so big and private with an exceptional fire pit. We had so many adventures to the areas surrounding beaches and coming back to The French Girls Lair at the end of the day was the cherry on top.
