Construction & Specialized Workers' Union Local 1611

I was ignored to such an extent that I am Denied of the help and justice a member deserves. Dont know if the Local member Lisa is so busy or what but she has been very Unreceptive. Don't see any reason why I am forced to pay the dues. Very hurtful experience.

I’ve been a member of CSWU local 1611 for almost 10 years. They have always supported me with any courses or training that I needed. I always felt like they had my back, and they were looking out for me.

This is my union I belong too great ppl here love them

While I was flagging, my company's benefits went through this organization. Somehow, AIL got involved and have my information. Not realizing they are a predatory MLM, I agreed to a virtual meeting. Half way through the meeting I realized that it was in fact a MLM and left, telling them I was not interested. This was about a year ago. They are STILL contacting me and my contacts even though I have told them multiple times to take me off their calling list, which they didn't do. The last call I recieved I told them I would take legal action if they do not remove me from their call list. I realize this review is on Liuna 1611's page and not AIL. I am leaving Liuna 1611 this one star because THEY are the ones who gave my information to AIL. They should not be affiliated with a MLM, period. I don't care if they only partially go through them". AIL has my information only because of Liuna 1611 and now I am struggle to be left alone by a company I want NOTHING to do with. AIL says to me "if you don't want our calls just stop filling out the paperwork!" I haven't filled out any paperwork. Why would I complete paperwork and submit it to them for them to CONTINUALLY HARASS ME"

I had an awesome experience with the representatives of CSW local 1611. I was totally amazed at how much work and dedication was put into my issue. I’m a proud member!

Benefits and life insurance are sweet

Racial discrimination is being rampant in this union. If you have a name like mine, they will ignore your application to join them and they won’t even invite you for an opportunity for an interview. I have been sending my application for several months with out a feedback and i know friends like me whose application were ignored.
