LArche Lambeth - London is a wonderful place to gather for Community -Seniors Drum Circle & also many classes for persons with Intellectual Disability. My. Brother looks so forward to going to LArche weekly for Drums!!Also the public Bonjour Cafe- when reopened, is a great place to gather for delicious coffee/ tea & home made treats * yummy.Diane , David

Beautiful people beautiful facility

The public's invited to Monday Morning Music Club from 10 to 11. Live group sing-along starring those with intellectual disabilities. Led by professional musicians with instruments and amplification.

Just attended a wedding dinner here tonight food was ok but catered acoustics are good for music modern new building

Great organisation

I worked for L'arche London for 3 years. I have never seen such great hearts and great intentions. This being my first job back in the workforce after 5 years absent and 2 years school, I was unaware of just how different of an agency they were.They have an amazing community of hundreds in of themselves. Herein lies, in my opinion, a very large flaw. The community is their own. The clients, or Core Members" have very little involvement in the community out in the civic structure. The community would even opt to have the entire community population change their way of behaving for one client's eccentricities. A more structured or mainstream agency would go the therapeutic rout. Possibly Cognitive behavioral. This way of dealing with a client's issue worked amazing within the cocooned structure.
