Boot Scootin' Boogie Dance Club

After recently purchasing tickets to the Totally Twain show scheduled April 22nd at Boot Scootin Boogie (and later notified that it was canceled), I inquired about the time process for refunds, to no avail.I called Boot Scootin venue three times and left messages over a 9 day period. No reply. I emailed. No reply. I tried their website. It is defunct.I was concerned they were perhaps in financial trouble and closing their doors. Not being certain, I reached out to two mutual friends to inquire as to whether they knew what was happening. They did not, however, to help me, they reached out to Terrylynn Kuhl as well. Finally, I received a very rude and unprofessional reply from Terrylynn Kuhl via Facebook Messenger. She chastised me for attempting to make any contact with her and Boot Scootin Boogie as well as the two mutual friends.She was snarky in her response to the two mutual contacts and to me, stating they should not be responding to me and that she and her members, as volunteers, do not have to respond to me either. She further stated I shouldn’t have reached out multiple times and that I should wait for a public announcement to be made regarding the cancellation of the Totally Twain show.Not the kindest or most courteous woman considering she is working in the not for profit sector. Evidently there’s some abuse of the non profit sector here. I have reported this to the AFP Edmonton Chapter.

You can bring your kids till 11. Great music to dance to, to bad they do not serve food yet. Reasonable price beer water and coke r a bit pricey. Large dance floor.

Wow, the place was really jumping last night...first time I had gone to check out the new place. We have some amazing dancers in this town! Love the idea of having a family friendly venue where teens can check out live bands with their parents. Big thanks to the staff for making the place so welcoming! We will be back :-)

Live music, bar, and dance area. Sound is good. Caesar was average, felt it was missing alcohol and ice.

Incredible entertainment, friendly staff and a wide arrange of age. There were some line dances I didn't know and a couple ladies were quite helpful in teaching me.

Best humans on the planet run this place! Big hearts and always giving back to the Community! Also the BEST stage for Live Music and true supporters of Live Music! They host fundraisers all the time and are always thinking of others. New menu features BANNOCK and it absolutely fabulous!! Home made everything! They even have a special twist on jalapeño bites!! YUM!! Check them out!

Great Volunteers and for a Non Profit dance hall. The lesson are fun and music is great. They respect AHS Covid Guidlines and I always feel safe in the space . Also the Rocky Horror Pitcure Show night was a blast .

Love them. Sadly they got unfairly shafted out of the building at the last moment when the owner pulled the rug right out from under them, after they did thousands of dollars of renovations and had to move out before. Hooyas and Samale inn now took over the building. Such a shame. Would have been a great location for them. The owners are very kind and helpful to the community around there. Hard to find nowadays.

This place is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is so warm and friendly. I love the live bands and the true country renovations. Be sure to check this place out!
