We were absolutely thrilled with the work that James and his team performed live streaming our wedding in September of this year. They took care of everything allowing for us to enjoy our day with our immediate family while hundreds of family and friends watched our ceremony from the comfort of their homes. They also captured our day with and a 4 minute highlight video that was spectacular. I cry every time I watch it. I would, without hesitation, recommend them to join your wedding team of professionals.

James & Dan were an absolute pleasure to work with prior to the wedding, during the wedding day, and after it was over... making us feel comfortable with no worries at every stage of the process.The wedding film and footage that they captured and produced blew us away. We had watched other videos they had posted when we were researching videographers; however, when we got our own video, we were amazed at how they captured the emotion of our day... and so many of the special, split-second moments between ourselves, our guests and our family members. When we made the difficult decision to decrease our numbers for our ceremony, we reached out to our photographer, Cole Hofstra, to ask who he would recommend for a videographer to help capture our special day. He highly suggested Summit Wedding Video. I quickly sent an email, and within hours, they got back to me with their availability. We mentioned that we wanted a video of our day to watch for the future, but also to show our guests who were not able to make it originally. James and Dan are an incredible team and the quality of work that they produce is simply breathtaking. They helped capture all of special moments of our elopement and what they created was beyond what we expected. James was so prompt to answering emails and wouldn’t waste a minute. With having to reduce our guest list only a few weeks before our wedding ceremony, we were so happy Summit Weddings was able to live stream for us! The quality was amazing, especially the sound from the mic that was only on my husband’s jacket! James went above and beyond to offer all of their services that were available that day, and he also chatted with the live stream guests to give them a heads up on timing so they weren’t left hanging. Most women have thought about, planned, and dreamed and of that special day when they get married for many years growing up prior to “their special day” arriving. For most guys, they have not put a lot of thought about the details of their special day, but if asked they want everyone at the wedding to have a great time and to remember their wedding day forever! To accomplish this your special day needs a lot of planning, a lot of creativity, and most importantly a great team of professionals to help plan and execute every detail that has been planned, in most cases for at least a year in advance. Our special day was held at the Banff Springs Hotel in Banff Alberta Canada. Our professionals included a wedding planner, the hotels event planner, a photographer, a videographer a lighting specialist and a DJ/MC. I can honestly say that “our special day” was “that day”. The day that everyone enjoyed, continues to talk about and will remember forever. We chose Summit Films and Photography to video our wedding ceremony and reception. We selected their company after speaking with many other firms prior to making our final selection. For us it was an instant connection with James. He was friendly, professional, easy to speak with and most important, he listened to us. I don’t mean just listen to us because we were having a conversation, he listened to get to know us. He listened to learn about our lives prior to the wedding, our plans for the wedding, our plans for after the wedding, our family, our guests, our dreams, and desires and what we hoped to see when we played the video of our special day for the first time and each and every time there after. After our initial conversation, James would check in periodically to see how the wedding plans were coming along to ensure that he was always current with what was planned to happen. The week prior to the wedding James contacted us twice, each roughly a 40-minute conversation to ensure that he knew exactly every detail of what was planned, and we knew what Summit Films would be doing and when they would be doing it. James also had private conversations with our other hired professionals, so they were all on the same page for what was going to happen and when. On our special day James and his team arrived on site early to video around the hotel before many of our guests had even gotten out of bed. Something we would have never thought of or considered. Throughout the day both during the ceremony and the reception James and his team filmed for hours but were never overly noticeable while they were filming. During the course of the day, they would periodically check in with us at appropriate times with ideas or suggestions for our approval. James and his team felt like guests at our wedding not strangers filming our wedding. The simplest way to put how we feel about the video we received; it made us feel like we our wedding was a movie you would see on TV. I don’t know how many hours it took James to cut out each and every small detail out of a film that had to be 10 or 12 hours’ worth of time from multiple cameras, but Summit Films captured each and every detail, no matter how small the detail was and put it into a short movie that incorporated the entire day. Our video is one that we will cherish for a lifetime and one that we will never grow tired watching. Thank you, James, and your team for making our “special day” the one that I know everyone enjoyed and will never, ever forget and thank you for capturing our “special day” in such a way that when we watch our video its just like we are there again celebrating not just a part of the day but the entire day. The videos they have sent us exceeded all expectations and are the perfect keepsakes to re-live our day over and over. James and his crew did a fantastic job for my wedding, they truly captured the feeling of our wedding day. Which to me is what you want in a wedding video.Our wedding was full of joy, mischief, and most of all love, something I was not expecting since we were married during Covid-19 times. However, I think getting married during this odd blimp in history made our wedding that much more special, like a rebellion against all the sadness. When the day was done, I was filled with pride and nostalgia thinking that I would only ever be able to rekindle that feeling in my memory. When I received the final video months later, I found myself reexperiencing all the emotions I had that day. Family members who could not attend in person told me that when they watched the video they felt like they had been there with us.All in all, I highly recommend Summit. The team is gracious and lovely, and I sincerely feel you will be happy you chose them!

James, Dan and their team produced AMAZING wedding videos for us that were everything we could have dreamed of and more. They captured the day so beautifully and told our story in such an immaculate way. They picked up on how important family is to us, and were able to show that in every aspect of our videos.
