Worst food quality everything smells bad. Nothing is fresh. Sholay, kadi, cauliflower and gravy everything smells bad. Not worth paying and received bad smelled food. Never gonna visit this place

Always a great experience. Best bengali style rasgulla (so spongy). Chhole bhature, kulcha & paratha are fresh, edible and made to order.

Unhygienic conditions. I saw flies in the place resting joyfully on the open food counters. Food here is kept open and the rude young lady at the counter touches it without washing hands or gloves. Actually confused at deciding which is worse, the food or the woman who serves it. I refrain from giving negative reviews but this one had to be conveyed. The lady working there behaves as if she wants you out of the shop as soon as possible.Edit: The audacity of your response goes on to show how little you care for your customers' health or feedback. I had read your responses to other reviews and this was expected. Next time I shall upload video as well.

i went yesterday for the first time around 8:30pm, and the girl was so rude, she was screaming like maniac that they dont have anything apart from sweets. i haven't seen worst customer service like this. go to rajdhani instead just accorss the road. ....... owner seriously needs to do something about staff..... check 2 yrs review, everyone is saying customer service is a problem

I would truly not recommend his place, it sucks!!!I ordered 8 tandoori garlic naan( take away), when we came home and saw it’s actually a frozen naan which they heated and packed for us and charged $27 for it. I think I could do a better job with heating up frozen food instead.

It's called Bengali sweets but the taste isn't of Bengal. The samosas were just potato filling with chilli flakes, there was no flavour. The tables were not cleaned and we had to clean the table ourselves by using water and paper towels. Washroom is dirty.

If you are vegetarian it's great. They have many options to choose from. Their sweets section is always loaded and full and many people seem to love getting a box of authentic sweets that taste just like back home! However If you are vegan or have dairy allergies and want to know if an allergen is in a specific dish, good luck getting the staff to tell you. They almost seem to get mad when you ask if items have milk or butter or not. In fact, I have asked for items with no butter and have received them anyway, only realizing it DOES have butter on the next visit when another staff told me it is not vegan. Pretty confusing. If you take your allergies seriously, or animal cruelty, then this wouldn't not be the place to go.It seems like the sale is more important to them than respecting your dietary wishes, which is sad because most of the dishes can be made without ghee or butter anyway. The food that they do make is tasty , regardless, but sometimes the okra and the eggplant are swimming in oil which can leave one feeling nauseated and heavy in their stomach. The rice is almost always microwaved and not freshly made, which is a shame.Makes a pretty good place for takeout, as the interior decor is lacking any charm and many things , like vents in the wall, the bathroom and a fresh coat of paint, are in desperate need.Maybe the other locations are better? But if you have a date or someone you want to impress , head elsewhere!
