Super cool place to visit! The scenery is breathtaking! I wouldn’t come up here with anything less than a SUV WITH 4X4! Took our 06 Honda Pilot, she did very well. There are steep inclines and parts of the road is river stone. If you have a vehicle to do it with; go. We walked the last 100m because there wasn’t really a place to park or pull off further up. It’s a must do though if you have the right vehicle!

Do not take anything less than an SUV up to this spot!! It's an old mining road, very rocky, there was lots of water and very narrow in spots.

Batchawana Falls is an amazing Thrilling experience that doesn't come easy, the access road is not well maintained, narrow and bushy, flooded and muddy, some parts of the road are on an incline with round river rocks, summarizing you best have a 4X4 to make the trip, I have seen kids over the age of 5 but I would not recommend this place for kids under 10, to access this beautiful waterfalls you must descend a steep mud embankment that requires the help of another to make it through, also good hiking shoes are highly recommended, no sandals nor flip flops please! People do jump in the water from the cliffs, the river current is strong so if you don't know how to swim just enjoy the magnificent views, the rock is very exquisite and colorful, orange, blue, purple hues are a feast for the eyes combined with the dark brown color of the river. Please respect Nature by picking up your garbage so everyone an enjoy!

Batchawana Falls is a very scenic place. It's not marked and not very visible from the logging road. It's between km marker 7 and 8 on Tribag Road. Road turn to right and just before that there is a little stream on the left that crosses the road. Parking is very limited, but it's worth the effort.

What a drive... Used my “Princess” Toyota Tundra, we call Maud, with 22” wheels and street rubber. We drive down an ever narrower and more difficult trail. Almost turned around twice but after a 37min drive(because of the tires and orange sized rocks) we arrived at our fourth and last waterfall of the day. Was it worth it? Meh, nice enough I suppose. An adventure for sure. (Off roaders need not comment... I know already. ;)

It’s risky without a 4 by 4. We stoped 2.5 km away and walked there. But it worth it.

Great falls but the drive in was a little treacherous. I recommend parking off the road about 1.5 km from falls and walk in. Its a nice walk.

Need a 4WD to get there, red ribbons at right will show you where to stop.

Been coming here for about 35 years. Absolutely gorgeous. My friends and I affectionately refer to this place as The Rat Hole! Fun experience jumping off the rocks, for all ages.
