We've become accustomed to the lack of service at The Bay; however, the Gatineau store is by far the worse in the region. Cudos to the staff that remain employed there.

When I mentioned I was looking for low prices on jeans, I was looked down upon. Said he could not help me and walked away. Upon looking closer to the on sale articles, I saw some jeans in my price range but decided that HB did not deserve my business.

I received a watch worth approximately $200 for Christmas. My son was told I could get it sized at no cost without the price receipt. Because I didn't have it, they charged me $15 for removing a wrung. Never returning. It's not the price it's the principal and lie.

Employee comes to us saying would you like 15% discount just fill out a few questions on this tablet" ...started filling in the questions when they started getting really personal.. turns out she tried to misslead me into signing up for a credit card...What the hell Hudson's bay.."

Newly renovated and looks nice but doesn’t have everything like other major bays. Staff was giving me looks but overall not too aggressive. I prefer other bay stores cause they are bigger and have more variety. It has two floors, bottom has women and perfumes and jewelry and upper is men and home appliances and furniture.

Canadian institution, slowly loosing feathers and it's sad. As long as they can be strong online they offer unique products and have exclusives. Wish the store was better maintained. Check back when the pandemic is over
