New Roots Garden Centre

My family has been coming here for years and I started coming here myself for my personal plants! Staff are so lovely and helpful, very beautiful well cared for plants and a peaceful atmosphere ☺️ I've bought many plants from them over the years (which are all doing very well!) and will continue to buy from here. 10/10 favourite garden centre!!

I found a dwarf bush for the front garden. It is very healthy and doing well. Sale price was a bonus.Pleasant staff while at their store.

I first called New Roots to explain the situation and said that I can return with the receipt to confirm, and then I went to the site to return. The old lady (the manager)first said that this variety is not yet mature, and it is what it looks like in the picture when it is mature, and then I insisted that it is not at all. The variety in the tag, I asked to return it, and then said that I had already planted it in the ground and could not return it. It’s make sense that I bought it and planted it in the field. In the end, she actually said that I was lying. They have not sold this variety of flowers. I showed her the receipt, and then she pointed to one of the lines we reserve the right to deny warranty claims"

I had some issues with my delivered triple mix soil recently, but Josh from New Roots Garden Centre came to my door and resolved the issues by giving some useful advice as well as providing me with some bags of soil and seeds. I would appreciate the level of the customer care of the company.

On May 12, I purchased a Navajo thornless Blackberry and a Northern Lights Cannabis seedling.Blackberry is already flowering and I am happy it was sold to me on old cane, therefore, new growth will give me berries this year.But the Northern Lights isn't a seedling at all, as it is already flowering just 1 month later.It looks like it's been growing in the green house and cut back hard to look like a seedling.Ok, for a beginner grower it's fun, but I paid $20 so I can grow a proper plant. Even the medium it's growing in (looks like insulation) bound its roots, forcing it to flower.Please don't fool your customers.Overall, I enjoy shopping there, it's a beautiful centre and have been a customer for 20 yrs, at that location.

Absolutely amazing experience. My partner and I recently moved to the area and are very excited about having a backyard after living in Toronto the past few years. However neither of us have ever cared for a plant beyond the typical indoor (ie monstera, succulents, etc). Upon arrival we were asked if we need help or were just in our ‘happy place’ to which we said we were definitely in need of help as we have a shaded yard and complete newbies. The worker (unfortunately I did not get her name) was beyond helpful. She took her time to explain to us the pros and cons of different shade plants, how to plant them for the best WOW look, and also warned us of the clay soil that would be in our backyard! The knowledge and helpfulness is here beyond compare and we left with a cart full of beautiful plants. 5 stars is not a high enough rating for this wonderful nursery and I personally cannot wait to return.

New Roots has completely transformed our front garden at our family business. For years we struggled with weeds that overtook the entire garden, they cleared it all out and replanted all new plants and shrubs. It has never looked so good! We get tons of compliments from our customers daily. We're very pleased with New Roots and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very pleased with our backyard install of trees and assorted perennials. Josh was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Josh and his team finished the job quickly and did not leave a mess. Looking forward to watching our garden grow!
