I can't believe how bad the customer service is with this company. I placed an order over a month ago and received an email a couple days later saying my package has shipped, but when you go to track it it says awaiting carrier pick up. The status hasn't changed for 4 weeks and every time I call, email or get on the chat the customer service" rep says they are working on it and I should have an update in 5 days with no follow up. This was a Christmas gift and now I won't be getting in time and I have doubts if it'll ever come. I highly recommend never shopping at best buy

Had a horrible experience picking up my online order. I was in line and 2 people who were behind me were attended to. When I made this known yo the cashier DD, I was asked to wait and she continued serving the customer who cut the line saying he was there before me which was clearly not the case. Please teach your staff some etiquette.

Terrible customer service. Online ordering is disorganized and outdated. Takes a day or better to clear payment method, and pricing/stock seems to be random and disorganized. Staff won't or can't make changes or really do anything beyond tell you what the website says. Was 3 days trying to order/purchase an item that I desperately needed for work. Wouldn't process the payment even after I was assured multiple times everything was in order, then Best Buy Canada emails and says there must be something wrong with my payment method and simply cancelled my orders without notice or notification after trying to process for a full day each time. Finally had enough and even cancelling the last order took a full day. Used the exact same payment method and credentials elsewhere, instant verification and purchase as is the case daily, never had a problem ANYWHERE. Will not be returning to Best Buy. This was an extremely seedy experience.

Bought a series X from a different store, system was faulty so I called Best Buy which directed me to geek squad, was told they’ll have a look, no promises they can fix it but at least give me direction on what to do. I asked clarification as I am an hour away from this location and didn’t want to drive there if they couldn’t do it, told me no worries they’ll at least have a look. As I walked through the door with the system, the employees hanging by the front said that they don’t take Xbox’s, and i explained I was told multiple times they’ll take a look at it which the employee rudely replied, “yeah they always say that but they won’t take it”. So I left without anyone giving me any help. I understand miscommunication but if you’re aware with this misdirection you think you would correct it before people waste their time.

Very rude manager. We are here in the morning to return our microwave we supposed to get refund as we bought it from gift cards he was not ready to listen to us and asked us to go to Merivale store for return. It is just in a matter of minutes work but he is very rude.

I walked into Best Buy store few days ago to check some appliances...beautiful store, well organized. However, when walk into appliance department nobody acknowledge me so I go through the department having a whole bunch of questions on my appliance purchase but nobody to assist me. After 15 minutes as I was walking out I bumped into a young guy who was scrolling through his cell phone...he look at me, just said Hi"

No customer service considerations. Came in with an open box but the rest of the product was untouched and they would not consider processing a refund. The product dimensions did not include all the specifications making it unable to fit in our home. This is after spending over $10,000 on appliances in one order let alone all the other purchases.

When you order an electronic off the Best Buy website and they forget to include the free item that's supposed to come with the item and you talk to 11 different Best Buy employees both in-person and on the phone to help correct the situation and none of them don't know a single thing but when you contact the actual product's company all the way in Europe and the first person there has to apologize on Best Buy's behalf (which they shouldn't have) but gets the request done on the first go.... you get this kind of rating. Oh and the ordered item had a dent and rip on the box to add insult.
