Very nice park and playground. Good place to bring young kids. Not much else here but the playground, there is some open green spaces for running around and kicking or throwing a ball. No picnic tables and only one bench. There is a nearby baseball diamond.

Great for different age kids and lots of space to run and not feel crowded. Lack of benches for such a big playground is a bummer. But lots of grass space around, could bring a blanket to sit on as an alternative.

Hillcrest Park
Hillcrest is such a great Park to take your kids too. There is plenty of street parking, and the main play area is fenced in on three sides. There is so much opportunity for imagination play at this Park. My kids loved playing on the fire engine and putting out a pretend fire. The rope cone is fantastic, it's challenging enough for 4 + year olds. For the younger kids they can hold on and take a slow spin. A great Park for all ages.

Large sports fields with a paved path circling around the perimeter. There is a large playground with multiple slides, climbing structures, see saw, and a swing set (4 regular swing seats plus 2 infant swing seats). The base if the playground is bark mulch. There really isn't much of a shaded area as all the trees in the park are fairly young. There are a couple benches at the playground but no picnic area and very limited street parking.

It's nothing special. A park, which needs maintenance and it is close to a lot of homes in the area. Good for dog walking and kids playground is available but limited.

Park is great for the kids, and there is a lot of field for other activities. No tables so bring a blanket. Only downfall is the lack of bathrooms.

I have been trying to get lights put into this park and was just informed by the city that this park is not getting lights as it is 'closed' at night and they do not want to provide an inviting atmosphere at night.Thus is absolutely ridiculous. In fact, according to the city, this park is only to the public between 8:30am and 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday and is closed on the weekends.Guess there is a locked gate somewhere I'm missing.
