I have been to 8 provinces of Canada and I have yet to see a rest area that was amazing other than maybe on the 401 between Toronto and Montreal areas. The rest were never too exciting to visit.

A great place to stop and give your automobile a break from the crappiest roads in Canada. Manitoba must use the same road builders as Michigan

This is fine but it’s not a great place to stop on a road trip if you’re looking for facilities. There are no bathrooms or picnic tables. Just a sign and garbage cans.

Great place to pull off the highway for a quick break and enjoy time with the loved ones who are with you. Plenty of parking and clean facilities.
