We’ve had a fantastic start to our experience renting with RentPERKS. My fiancé and I are moving provinces, and found the perfect spot in Calgary through this company. Jason was our point of contact, he has been excellent, very hands-on and professional throughout the process. Extremely quick turnaround time from first applying to our actual move in date. We appreciated the attention to detail Jason provided in preparing the place, even leaving us with a thoughtful welcome gift and some supplies to aid in the move. He’s also been helpful in giving advice and being available for questions. The move in process was efficient, we were provided with everything that needed to be done right away via email. The app is a bonus as it allows us to view what we need all in one spot. Confident we made the right choice in renting with this company, and the place itself is gorgeous.

Rewriting my review as RENTPERKS seems to have misunderstood me... Leah and Erin (SK region) have been mismanaging the property my SO lives at ever since August 2022. He has been out of hot water for 9 days now. He has put in a maintenance request online, he has called the emergency line, and no one has come for 9 days. We would call someone to come in to fix the water heater on our own, but he lives in a basement suite and cannot access the water heater...Among other problems with the suite that have gone unanswered most of the time, having no hot water for 9 days is ridiculous, and we can't get a hold of Leah or Erin, despite putting in maintenance requests like we're told to do. RENTPERKS has completely mismanaged this property, I would avoid them at all costs.

If I could give negative stars I would. Communication with this company is terrible. My tenants told me the same. After 3 months of me claiming for a deposit from one of the units, they just said that they “forgot” to ask for a deposit damage from the tenant? How can they move in a tenant with no deposit? plus they never mentioned the fact that the tenant breached the lease. I had to ask why rent wasn’t paid. There were damages made to the unit and I had to pay from my pocket. Save yourself the headache and stay away from this company, very unprofessional.

Will ignore emails and disregard notices of cancelations of contracts. Very shady behavior, don't waste your time with these guys.

RentPerks fulfills what's required to manage a property. They breakdown monthly financials and provide historical financials. They can accommodate non-resident tax withholdings, which is critical for those who live out-of-country. We experienced difficulties getting financials correct at first, but it has improved over the yearsLike any company they could use improvement on communications. Some notifications are not pushed to the Owner through the website account or app. The only way to know if there's a new notification is to check the account manually. Could also use improved communication during lease renewal/termination to better know if you'll have a vacancy or a lease extension, or to know if/when your property is being advertised to fill a new vacancy. They can also improve on providing Owners with a way to contact someone via a non-generic support email or phone numberOverall they've done well enough. They've improved over the last few years and the hope is they will continue to improve and fill some of the gaps we've experienced

The RentPerk team have managed my property for over 3 years now in Vancouver. They’ve looked after my property and have secured back to back tenancies. They are quick to respond and easy to work with. Property is in good hands and well taken care of. I would recommend them.

My fiance and I rented our first place together through rent perks. Shawn was very quick to helping us find a suitable home with a fair price. Always quick to respond when we need any type of maintenance/repair around the property.

While the company itself failed to implement a number of its promises - we heard monthly for three years that the aforementioned perks" were coming soon - Adam was nothing but wonderful and it was a pleasure to have him managing our property. He came in at a very difficult time and made the best of a tough situation
