Tropical Greenhouse
Beautiful somewhat hidden gem in Ottawa! It’s very small, but it’s free and very well maintained. Since it’s low key, there’s not a lot of people most of the time anyway, so you’re able to peacefully take a quick stroll and of course get that perfect Instagram picture.Also side note, if it’s locked during open hours, you’ll need to call the security because they have the keys.

Tropical Greenhouse
The greenhouse is beautiful but small. There are so many different types of beautiful plants displayed. When I was there, they were growing oranges! The other greenhouses weren't open to the public which was disappointing but definitely a place to visit! It's great for those who take public transport as it's near the O-train.

Tropical Greenhouse
Visit to the Tropical Greenhouse at the Central Experimental Farm during a walk of the lovely grounds. Originally constructed in 1928 with several additions. Will be certain to come back for a full visit when open.

Tropical Greenhouse
This is a lovely little greenhouse. You can see more tropical plants, which you won't see in the nearby arboretum. It is a bit small though, as only one of the many greenhouses on the site are actually open to the public.

This is a hidden gem. It is a small space but such a treat to see the beautiful tropical plants. Lots of cacti & beautiful bromeliads. There are other green houses around that are not opened to the public but fun to look through the windows.

Beautiful and relaxing greenhouse. Lots of well curated plants to look at and enjoy. There is only one section open to the public, but there is seating inside for those who wish to sit and ponder.

Tropical Greenhouse
Nice greenhouse with tropical plants such as many kinds of cactus inside. Good to have it in Ottawa as it brings a variety to the usual plants in cold climate, and a reminder of those places nice and warm through out the year.

It’s only a tiny tiny place. It there’s more then two people in the building it’s awkward. But nice plants and it’s free!
