East Lake Chinese Food

I feel their food is excellent. I have ordered there many times. Their food is one of the best Chinese food I have ever had. My favourites are their sweet & sour pork, lemon chicken, chicken balls (ordered a small sweet & sour sauce on the side), deep fried shrimp in batter (dry), chicken chop suey (ordered a side order of dry noodles). They are all so delicious and generous portions. I also enjoy their dry breaded pork but it would even be better if the pieces were a little bigger. And if your order is over $35 before tax you get free plain fried rice (which is better than getting white rice). I am very happy with their food & service.

ordered just a beef fried rice and shrimp cantonese chowmein on doordash from this restaurant. honestly wasnt expecting much because its not my usual place but its surprisingly decent. its the closest chinese food in my area and ill say this is most likely the best one in the area.

This was our go to Chinese food restaurant for many years great food and quantity. It has taken a very steep decline in quantity and most importantly quality the deep fried shrimp was all batter couldn't see the shrimp if you used a magnifying glass , the pork noddles were salty and the pork was like eating a potato chip, sadly we will not be ordering from here any longer.

I have been getting food from here since 1989 as it is the only Chinese food place in the area.The first owners were hit and miss with food quality and service and the next owners seem better initially.We have had numerous times where we get a price quote and when we go to pickup it is 10.00 plus more.Last weekend was the straw that broke the camels back.The dry breaded veal is sliced so thin ,all you are eating is breading and the Cantonese chow mein consists of cocktail shrimp ,the spring rolls are filled with mush of sorts ....the only good thing was somewhat good was the deluxe wonton soup and even then,I am being kind....at least I could see the shrimp.Just so you know, this place does not have any sort of bar or restaurant so their reviews are inflated on the positive side...sadly ,my entire family have now agreed ,no more,70.00 is a waste of money in my books.I receved a gift certificate and went to use it.When I went to pick up my order I was told that they would not honor it due to being under new ownership.The food was edible however all tastes the same and the shrimp they use tastes like boiled water.In fact all the food tastes the same...boiled water.

Great chinese food, and it is always ready when given a specific time for pick up without having to wait long. Best breaded veal I have had, and a tie for first place with Peking on Corydon, for the best ginger beef. Would definitely recommend

Really good Chinese food. Hard to find a good Chinese place in this area, this is the best place.

I have ordered from here several times since I first tried it about a year ago and I have never had any issues. The food has always been tasty, orders have been accurate, portions acceptable and average price for Chinese takeout. My only complaint would be the amount of rice that is included with the individual combos. It is way too much rice for one person so I would rather see a little veggies or the main item and a little less rice. The ginger beef is one of the best I’ve had in the city, so give it a try especially if you like it with a lot of real ginger.

Make a reservation otherwise you won't be able to get a table. While you wait, go to the bar and order a margarita or their house sangria. The ambience is warm and inviting. The chips are handmade and the 3 salsas are all delicious. I ordered the chili verde enchiladas. Overall, best Mexican food I've had in the city so far.

This was the worst experience in Chinese food I've ever had in my life. And I'm 31, and I live my Chinese weather it authentic or American. We ordered the combo three and four, 80% of the over stuffed containers wich i was excited to see at first, were more like a scene from a horror movie when I opened it. Way too much rice for one person as for the non 'lemon chicken', the piece was the size of a dinner roll, with no sauce in sight and the spring roll was closer to a lumpia. Not to mention the breaded veal I'm pretty sure was a chicken breast that had been stepped on 40 times and the beef pieces were basically toothpick strips.
