Lovely people working here. This place has the look and feel of a small town grocery store. Not always a huge brand selection but what they have is very good and well stocked.

I recently had a problem with a product I purchased. Didn’t notice until I got home. Stupid me I didn’t take the receipt after the payment went through. Figured I was out of luck. I called and asked about exchanging it and I didn’t take my receipt. I live on the other side of Poco so it’s a long trip for nothing if they didn’t. Said bring it in. Exchanged it no hassle at all.Another great thing about this store is the individual portions of packaged foods like single chicken breast or pork chop. Great for the bachelor or some one not looking to over consume. All the staff I’ve interacted with have been good.

This place will probably surprise you they have quite a selection of good old fashioned food like real homemade lasagna made lasagna they do a lot of stuff in store and must go

A young male cashier made disparaging comments about my appearance as he checked out my groceries which made me extremely uncomfortable. He didn’t know what parsley was so I told him as people often confuse it with cilantro. He input parsley as Anjou Pear. I told him that was incorrect “this is parsley.” He then asked me to help him find it on his alphabetized list of produce codes!!! I suggest skipping this place and go to City Ave Market down the street instead. City Ave Market doesn’t feel dingy like PoCo Freshmart, the employees won’t make you feel like garbage and they also know the alphabet.

Love this little family run grocery store, a Southside poco gem. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, great deals on food if you catch them before the rest of poco does. Keep up the fantastic work
