Western Financial Group Inc. - Canada's Insurance Broker

We have had service with this company for many years, but we will not go to them again. They are trying to charge us for services that we didn't authorize, and when we did eventually send in (during covid) our signed paperwork, they never ended up putting us on the plan we signed for! I called in today to ask questions, and the manager was more interested in hearing herself talk than giving me a chance to speak. We will be going elsewhere and we won't be recommending this business. Not worth the unprofessionalism and hassle.

When you have to worry about the people that are selling the insurance, there's no point in having insurance. They were unable to answer any and all of my standard simple questions such as: how did my insurance bill go up approximately $650 when I have never had a claim in my life. Nothing but dead silence and lies when answering questions. Overall, an extremely negative experience. I felt the team were impossible to work with, they could't answer any of my questions. My bill is approximately double what any of my friends and family say is normal. Absolutely pitiful service on their part.Sincerely a concerned citizen.PS. I'm only giving this a 1 star rating because it wasn't possible to post a -5 rating.

I was very disappointed to learn from another broker when I went in for a quote that I was being double billed for storage insurance by this branch. As soon as I realized it I went down to ask why and to cancel one. I was told that return payment comes by cheque which would be available at their branch or mailed out. Now, I paid by CC so fully expected first of all to be credited the same way, but was told that's not how they do things. I asked to pick up the cheque and approximately when it would be ready. I was told a week to ten days and that they would call me when it was in. I called in in person three weeks later after having heard nothing and got a very rude response when I asked for my cheque. I finally got my cheque today, a month after the cancellation. I am so glad I won't be dealing with this branch again. Inept and rude to boot? No thanks.

Tara Maguire is the best. She helped me a lot for everything. Her instructions are super clear and she is very polite. I really appreciate the way she handles her clients. She is very considerate and took extra efforts for me to get my work done. Thanks a ton Tara.
