Good summertime beach fun for the kids in a ropped off safe zone. Nice calming view with little road nose.But.. no lifeguards. You must keep you eye on your children.

Paid good money for a membership and drove an hour towing my boat to Conestoga Lake only to be told at the gate that the park was at full capacity and they couldn't let me in. Other people were leaving as we were coming in and they said that didn't make a difference for capacity. Makes no sense. Don't waste your time or money on this membership. Very disappointed in the way they treat members

Shades Mills is a great family day trip. There is a lot to do here such as fishing, swimming, paddling the canoe, hiking, or just relaxing It is always an enjoyable trip.

Went to the winter walk guided tour and it was awesome! They guides were friendly and knowledgeable and they let us have 5 min of mindfulness time in the woods. And then we got to roast marshmallows!

This place seems nice, I wish there was more explanation from the front gate on what to explore and what to do. I came to support my friend in a race but was unaware this place has things to do or existed. The staff should ask if you've been there before and explain what they offer but the location itself is chill. I don't know how big it is or if people camp so left a lot to be wondered.
