Lazy Daisy's Cafe
Great staff, they were very patient and accommodating as it was extremely busy.Our table was clean and ready at the requested time.The server was polite and our food was ready really fast, which was impressive as the restaurant was busy.We had the rise n fry and hi rise sandwiches. Both great and their coffee was tasty too. Highly recommend it.

Sundays are busy so get there early. Lots of families with kids. Gets loud the later you arrive. Washroom is clean but downstairs so it will make it difficult for anyone with disabilities. Good value, plate presentation could be better. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful.

A great little breakfast spot in this area. The food was great! My sandwich was a little on the cold side, but the flavours were all there. My companion really enjoyed her breakfast biscuit sandwich. Will definitely come back to try more

This was a great brunch spot! I came here midday on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised that a seat was available w/o wait. Service was great, atmosphere slightly on the loud side but still possible to have a conversation without shouting. I ordered and enjoyed a short stack of cinnamon bun pancakes on this visit, and was pleasantly surprised they had pie slices from Wanda's in stock too! Well worth a visit!(Pancake score: 7.5/10)

What a gem in the Upper Beaches. It is a perfect place to have a cheerful weekend brunch. Just be aware that at least 30min waiting might be unavoidable if you are planning to visit at the prime time on the weekend. The cinnamon pancakes are the must-try!! Highly recommended!

Went for brunch & the food was delicious! Service was awesome , very attentive!The mac & cheese was cheesy & baked to perfection. The garlic mayo on the BLT paired perfectly with the bacon flavour!

I was passing through the neighbourhood and couldn’t help but stop here. My old favourites were the Breakfast Burrito and the Rise & Shine so I got the delicious burrito. Just as good as it was years ago when I used to frequent this gem. I also picked up some biscuits to take home to the family. Amazing. Cashier was okay (Young and ambivalent). But the food is still excellent and the place is still very inviting with cheerful decor.

Great staff and food. On that day, it was crowded before noon on Sunday, but staff was very helpful and polite without showing signs of being busy. Food was really good I really liked the biscuits there. Fluffy and flavourful. Now, one of my favourite cafes in Toronto.

We walked in on a Sunday around noon and were accommodated right away (shocker on a busy Sunday but we got lucky)!We were a group of 4, and each tried different dishes. Let me say, the biscuits are phenomenal, they are so fresh, tasty, and don’t make you feel icky afterwards. I think from all the dishes we tried, the winner was the chicken sandwich with the biscuit. Portions aren’t very big for every dish, but they are very filling and satisfying.My friend also loved the iced chai latte, which was a really pleasant surprise as they just don’t taste good at some places.The waitress was really knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions as well, which was great. Service was also fairly quick considering how busy it was that day.I had initially seen the spot on social media and really wanted to give it a try, and I have no regrets. I love the interior decor and furniture, and I can’t wait for my next visit!
