Was such a great experience! And it was all free! You can go into the shops and there are people in there explaining things for you. There was a great cable car there too. Very cool spot.

lovely place, you definitely travel straight back to the 1920s, it is clean, organized, every detail was put with special attention, perfect for families or not, also the people who work there are friendly and some of them can tell you interesting stories about the History .

It was nice pretty display of lights and all Christmas shenanigans. Admission is free . The food is good as well and the staff was really friendly. The only back point was crowd management. As all the sites are pretty small people were bumping on their way in and out from it. A divider , or having entrance n exit through separate doors would have been helpful but otherwise ot was magical experience full of Christmas vibes. Parking was hustle but it was weekend so was expected

Highly recommend, especially if you are interested in Canadian history. Loved all the details and antiques throughout each building. The movie theatre was even playing a silent film.Staff and volunteers were very friendly and knowledgeable. With free admission, you can’t go wrong. I can’t believe it was free, we would have paid. Spent a few hours here and only spent $10, two rides on the carousel and a couple drinks from the gift shop.

One of a kind interactive museum and fun for kids to explore. Everyone should experience the carousel with the antique jukebox! Finish off your visit with refreshments (cotton candy, kettle corn, hot dogs, etc) sold outside the gift shop!

Amazing place during Christmas season. The lights around the village make it magic. With the early sunset during winter plan to come by 3 or 4pm and then enjoy the lights. Parking is limited but you can park on deer lake parking. It was cold so come prepared because the temperature usually drops during the evening. The admission is free.

This Musium is a perfect place to spend a family time and have fun for all ages. Although most of the buildings are replica of the real buildings, but they perfectly shows that part of the history. Walkways and roads are nicely maintained and gardened with fabulous flowers. Carousel with organ music could be amusing for youngsters and nostalgic for older ones! Admission was free and so parking did. I recomend to allocate at least 2 hours for your visit. There was a gift shop next to the carousel. Not much options for food though.

Neat place to visit for a few hours to learn about local history, especially as a free summer activity. I appreciated the inclusion of Indigenous, South Asian and Chinese history. Popular place for families with young children. Loved the blacksmith demonstration, restored train and that many people on site to answer questions.
