Bikini Village

I was in this store a few weeks ago, and was appalled by the treatment I received. I am by no means your average 150 lb female, I am what some would consider plus size, but not by its true terms. I am 185-190.A few girls much smaller than me entered the store before me and the 4 girls that were working, flocked them. Ignoring my presence. I was ignored for my entire time being in the store, only after asking for someone to start me a room was I acknowledged.After I gave my suits to the girl, who was obviously not impressed with me, she told me shed start me a room. After a few more minutes of looking I decided I was done, had one more suit in my hand and walked off to my fitting room. I asked the girl in there which was mine, described the suit I had given to the other girl, and was immediately told they put it away. I asked why and she brushed me off. Behind me enters another girl with what looks to be a gym bag and a few suits in her hand, the girl speaking to me, brushed by me took her suits and started her a room. AsI started to enter another room, the employee stopped me, told me I wasn't allowed to enter with my bag and needed to leave it outside. I was fed up. I tried on my suits and asked for a top in a larger size. She looked me dead in my face and told me we don't size that large". I asked for an XL. I was done. I packed up and immediately left the store with no word to them. To say I was completely humiliated is an understatement. These girls should be ashamed of themselves."

Service picking out swim suits and trying on was great however they sold me all my bathing suits without the secondary hygiene tag. There was the standard plastic one on and i didnt think twice about it. I needed to return one of the sets as the top didnt fit properly (slippage) but they refused to take the bottoms back because they didnt have the hygiene tag and upon asking the employee who sold me the suits she admitted she did not put a tag on the bottoms (or any of them) This attempted return happened within 24 hours and item was not tagged properly and because of their own mistake refused a refund. Manager also stated that because i tried on the bikini in the changing room (with undergarments on and hygeine sticker) that counts as the swimsuit being “worn” and unable to be refunded.

Sunday, April 3, 2022 - 5+ stars to the Sunday Team for their awesomeness. The Team was friendly, helpful, happy and knowledgeable. We had a blast trying on as many bathing suits as we could until we found what we were looking for and each of you had suggestions and the patience for us. We are appreciative of this level of service. Thank you.

The Guildford location was super helpful in helping me find the right bathing suit. They were very kind, patient and friendly. They took the stress out of shopping and I’m so happy with what I purchased!

The manager ( Raman) is the nicest individual! Definitely my favourite. Shes super accomodating and cares about the customer! Super quick to check on you and grab another size if needed.Thanks for helping to make my shopping experience amazingly!

Hailey helped my out today and I left the store with the biggest smile on my face. I am non binary and find shopping for swimwear very distressing but hailey instantly understood what I was looking for, respected what I wanted and the pronouns that I’d like to be referred to which made for the most enjoyable experience. I’d recommend everyone check out this store if they struggle finding swim wear for themself :) not to mention I am very happy with my purchases.

I am so very impressed about everything in this store. My wife had bought an expensive swimsuit in February and it started discoloring very soon after.She was sort of shy and reluctant to complain about it. So I called the store and a very pleasant sounding salesperson answered it promptly.She patiently listened to me and advised me to come the store and meet Eva , the store manager. What a wonderful individual who made us feel comfortable and justified about our complaint. Wow , this was such a refreshing experience for a retail store. She promptly went about helping us select another one.What a happy wife I have now , serious brownie points all over ! We were given store credit for the balance and I bought myself a pair of swimming trunks. This store is OUTSTANDING in all aspects; from quality merchandise, to attentive and pleasant salespeople and ambiance. Kudos to the whole team and in particular Eva. Well done and keep up the good work!
