They are not responding the calls, if they do they kept you on hold for over 30 minutes… worst customer service. You ask for a different prescription to renew and they do for a different. A TRUE DEFINITION OF DUMBNESS!!

If i could give a zero review, i will definitely do it but there is no 0 rate. Im so disappointed with the pharmacy assistant whose name is Karla/ Carla, with the eyeglasses lady. She is so rude to the costumer as well as she is not accommodating and not approachable. How come she works in the front when it seems she is so sarcastic. Please evaluate your staff and make sure they are nice as we costumer is the one putting money to your store. I am sorry to those staff who is polite and friendly, there are some in your store EXCEPT for CARLA/KARLA.

I went into Shoppers to purchase a few items; one of which I needed more information on. I was advised it would be best to consult the pharmacist. She was busy with a customer so I waited. I started to get annoyed as once she finished advising the customer she continued socializing looking at me with a smirk on her face knowing full well I was waiting to talk to her. I let her know I was unimpressed with her customer service. She replied back to me very sarcastically so I went over to the cosmetic counter to ask if they knew if I could return the item if it didn't suit my needs. While standing there the pharmacist stormed over, grabbed the items out of my hand, threw them across the counter and loudly stated that I should Leave the store immediately" and "Not bother coming back!". As I left I vowed Never to return. Why bother? Shoppers is over priced

Do not shop at this Shoppers Drug Mart (Bathurst & Lawrence) if you can avoid it! Poorly managed and unprofessional staff! I would give a no star rating if were possible. They have self check out machines and one customer service representative at the cash register. II you choose not to use the self checkout (it does not take cash) you will wait in a long line up and the customer service rep will accommodate the customers at the self check out if they are experiencing problems, severely understaffed! The Shoppers Drug Mart online prescription registry is seriously flawed. I picked up a prescription yesterday and as I walked out of the store I received my text/email notification to pick up this prescription. Tell me what is the point of online registration? I have had this happen on several occasions and have tried to fix the issue but no one I talk to seems to completely understand if you are lucky enough talk to someone on the phone, forget about asking the pharmacy staff they are clueless, very frustrating! There are many other good pharmacies in Toronto so I will be transferring my prescriptions and I will not be returning to this store in the future! My decision is now confirmed after reading all these other bad reviews.

I was about to give up on this place after they failed to have most sale items in stock three visits in a row (each visit one month apart) - now i'm done. They sell expired dairy and don't care. Not a day or two...6 weeks past the best before date! When i brought it back to the store i mentioned how that could make someone quite sick, and that i just lost an hour of my day. The supervisor's response was i gave you your money back

I've actually found the staff to be polite at this location, and I frequent the store often. Though I have found a good share of extremely rude and grumpy customers, and one even belittling the staff until I spoke up and said something. I think it is likely store policy to keep expired products on the shelf, not employees. That being said, there use to be a really grumpy cashier there who I haven't seen for a few months. I do agree that Shoppers and all the grocery stores use flyer sales to bring you to the store, fully knowing that the items will be out of stock. This is a tactic I've noticed at fortinos, loblaws and no frills. If you ask them to check in the back, without even checking they say they are out of stock. Only to be fully stocked when the item goes back to regular price (there is a work around to this if you give it some thought). Otherwise, great loyalty reward program which is the only reason I continue to shop here. Prices are better than Rexall, if that's any constellation.

NEW POST OFFICE HOURSDuring covid they close earlier - Store hours Mon.-Fri.: 9am- 7pm. Post office Sat. 10:30am-4:30pm, and Sun. 11:00am-3pm, again (March 2, 2021).

What a bummer !!! I made a mistake. Bought the wrong size rechargeable batteries for my cordless phone. AA instead of AAA. I realized as soon as I opened and tried to insert in the handset. So, I immediately sealed up the package and brought them back with the receipt the very next day. Just to be told that 'we don't accept returns on batteries or electronics one they've been opened' Now I am out $25.99 + tax for batteries I don't need. The Manager on Duty, Nelia, was adamant and stood her ground after I plead my case. I can't afford to toss away nearly $30. I am in between gigs. I needed new batteries in case a prospective employer was calling to set up an interview. This is a harsh policy. We have been shopping at this SDM for 20 years and never once tried to make a return. I was there to mail packages and buy detergent at the same time. I was prepared to overpay for batteries for the sake of convenience. We are loyal Optimum members as well. A draconian return policy that has no room for exceptions is cruel. I will think twice before ever returning to this location. I felt humiliated and disrespected. And, apparently offer no value as a customer.

Credit card payment only at self check-put, even though I was the only customer there. I wanted to split the payment on the same transaction to separate what I bought for my dad in order to get the points offer, but was told it was against store policy. Never had that issue before at this store or any other Shoppers.

Had an issue and was helped by the Manager in a professional and personable manner. Store is under new management. Very grateful.
