U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer

Terrible customer service from this location. I booked an appointment to have U-Haul install a trailer hitch on my vehicle ten days in advance. The day before the appointment (Friday, while I was at work) they called me and said I must take my vehicle into a garage a pay them to loosen the bolts or they will not install the hitch. Their reasoning was that they do not have the tools/equipment necessary to loosen them themselves. They promote themselves as the company that installs the most trailer hitches in the country".... but they don't have the tools and equipment to do the entire job? Last I checked loosening the bolts is part of the installation process. The assistant manager I spoke to was very rude on the phone and demanded I take my vehicle in to the other garage.I refused as I see loosening the bolts as part of the labour that I am paying U-haul to do the job.I cancelled my appointment with U-Haul and booked in with Action Car and Truck Accessories in Mississauga. They were friendly on the phone and much cheaper than U-Haul."
