Great option for membership if you're military or work for DND. The members & staff have been very welcoming to me as a new player. Only downside is the course can be quite busy & is not very easy to get an optimal tee time if you are trying to book a larger group, and the clientele tends to be retiree-aged (if that's an issue for you, I have no problem with it). I see myself coming here many more times throughout the summer!

A fabulous place to go x-country skiing in Ottawa in the winter. And it's open to the public.Two great golf courses in the summer, but need a member to get you onto the course.

A 36 hole facility (2 full 18s), with excellent practice facility, always in great condition. Very friendly membership.

Great golf course in Ottawa. Friendly staff, well maintained greens and lots of washrooms on the course. Also, the course is close to the airport so you can watch the planes from some holes.

Went for a winter sports day, nicely cut 5km, 9km and 14km cross country trails.

The course itself is great, but our tee time was rushed forward 15 minutes and the Marshall was unbelievably rude and harassed us multiple times to speed up even though we were a party of two behind one of four and no choice but to wait. Did she want us to hit then with the ball?

I played the North course today behind a Junior OVGA golf tournament. I ended up in a couple sand bunkers and I noticed that they were in really nice condition. I have played this course as well as the South course for many years and I have never seen the bunkers in this type of condition. In fact, most of the time the bunkers are in really bad condition. It is obvious that since the Juniors were playing that the maintenance staff went out of their way to ensure that they were in great shape. It is unfortunate that the members are not treated the same way. I and other members have voiced our concerns over the years on this and other issues and they have been ignored. In fact, they do not even acknowledge my suggestions. As a member this is very poor service.

Held a workplace winter sports day here. The activities that were available were:1) x-country skiing2) fat bikes3) snow shoe4) skatingEveryone had a great time and thankfully there were no injuries.Parking is free. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, just a lovely group of people tending to the visitors and the EXPANSIVE golf course turned into a winter activity hub.Kilometres and kilometres of trails for fat bikes and cross country skiing. There are loops for 5 km, 9 km and 14 km available.I hear they can cater a lunch for groups as well, there is a minimum number but easily reachable.Def worth checking out a couple of days after a heavy snow fall for the freshest trails.

What a beautiful and fun golf course. Beautiful 36 holes can be played. It is membership only however, it’s worth the money as the course is really well maintained and the service is super friendly

It is a terrific course. Not an overly difficult course for a serious golfer but challenging all the same for someone like myself who only plays 10 times a season or so. The course itself was in excellent condition. The fairways were well maintained and nice to play from. The greens were decently challenging but definitely maintained beautifully as were the various hazards. I loved playing the course and would play it again for sure. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's not a high-end" course but is still quite excellent to play."
