The flavours here are so unique! My family and I enjoyed the flavours we chose, but we did find it a bit pricey for the amount we got. However, we found that it was worth it! The flavours that we got and shared were Hong Kong milk tea, white rabbit, lime leaf fresh mint, and friend chip goals. Personally I loved the lime leaf fresh mint and friend chip goals flavours the best, because they had strong and tasty flavours! Just be aware that the lineup can get long but the workers seemed efficient!

Moo Shu is one of those amazing local treasures that makes Ottawa feel truly special. Winter or summer, rain or shine, there always seems to be a lineup at this ice cream shop & kitchen no matter what time of day it is. And for good reason! All of their ice cream flavours and various treats are delicious, and every menu item is clearly crafted with so much love. It’s actually kind of exciting when I visit and realize there are brand new flavours to try. They even have a rotating menu of vegan flavours, if that’s more your thing! There’s never been a treat from Moo Shu that I haven’t liked, but my favourites would have to be the White Rabbit, Hong Kong Milk Tea, Taro & Coconut Dipped Bar and the Vietnamese Coffee Sandwich Brownie! I’d recommend trying to stop by on a day where they’re making their bubble waffle cones too, if you can help it. Their salted caramel ones are especially fantastic. I also recommend their hand crafted dumplings, especially if you can pick up a frozen pack — I regularly crave the sweet potato and lentil ones!

Very unique flavor options. I really enjoyed the blue planet one and it's vegan- which was surprisingly creamy. Lots of fun flavors to try- however it is quite expensive for the sizing and there isn't really anywhere to sit inside and I went on a rainy day. So be prepared to leave with your icecream. Unfortunately no seating.

Friendly service and delicious ice cream. Lots of interesting and unique favours to choose from. They have some all time favourites like Hong Kong Milk Tea and others that are seasonal. The staff took the time to explain the menu to us and gave us some recommendations since it’s our first time here. We had the white rabbit flavour which tastes just like the candy (brings back childhood memories) and the lychee raspberry jam flavour (vegan) which was specially created for Chinese New Year and is available for a limited time only. They have even more yummy flavours in pints if you would like to take them to go and have them at home for movie night or to share with the family. Will come back to try the other exciting flavours! They have plenty of vegan flavours to choose from. If you are looking for exciting new flavours this is the place to go! I would highly recommend!

Dunkamoo is delish! The homemade waffle cone is fantastic. Didn’t love the “charcoal cloud and micro plastics” flavour. Kind of chalky and tastes like cornmeal. 2 scoops and 1 sandwich for $18

The best ice cream! Love the variety of flavours. The vegan ice creams are delicious, I loved the strawberry one. The waffle cone is the best I've had.They have great service, line goes quick. Definitely recommend & will be back again!

I really like their ice cream, even their vegan ones! Great assortment of flavours and I love how they introduce flavours every month/season. Keeps things fresh for repeat customers. This place is popular for a reason which may mean there might be a line outside so plan accordingly.
