Renaissance Academy of Learning Childcare and Daycare Center Richmond

We are so lucky to get our son enrolled in Renaissance Kids Richmond Campus. We started from Baby program and now in Junior Kindergarten class. The school staffs are so supportive and responsive. The programs are well designed and planed. The teachers are professional and patient. The school also offers hot lunch and snacks, which made my life much easier and my son loves the food so much. Overall, we are very satisfied with RK and highly recommend RK to parents.

The school has provided a level of excellence in all aspects of business. The dedication of the staff to lead by example and conduct themselves with the utmost respect sets them apart from everyone else. Their facilities are immaculate and are very well kept, which also sets the tone of their attention to detail in all aspects of their business. They take such pride in all they do and it shows. They absolutely deserve the award, as there is no other company dedicated to delivering through all avenues of their business!

I am very thankful that I chose this school for my daughters. It is undoubtedly the best decision I've made. My first one was there when she was 3 years old and she has graduated but still insisted to come back to the SPARKS (school-age ) program because she just misses this school and the environment so much. My younger one has been attending since she was 16 months old, with the well trained experienced teachers, it really eases off me and wife's separation anxiety, my girls always excited to go to school and often time refuse to come home when is pick up time! My daughters love their hot lunch which cook fresh in house by their chef. Most importantly this school offers enriched fine art and academic learning, so i don't have to worried about taking them elsewhere to learn dance or art, save my money, and save my time. I would highly recommend this school to all the families out there.

My family has used both the Sparks Before and After School Care program and the Summer Wonder Camp programs for the past four years and we are very happy with the service and level of care provided. The camps and school program provide a variety of very engaging and current subjects and activities from computers to art to cooking. We also really appreciate the social atmosphere where different ages, abilities and children from different schools have the opportunity to have fun together.

As a mother of two, my kids have been joining summer camps since their early years. I have come across good and bad ones, and I would say Renaissance Kids is definitely one of the best ones I have encountered. The teachers are so friendly that they would stay after hours to look after the kids when the parents run late; they also make sure that kids' safety always come first while the children are having fun at the camp. The theme of the summer camps come in different varieties and accommodate children with different interests. My children always come home excited telling me what they learn at the camp and show me the artworks they make at the camp. Thank you, Renaissance Kids!

My son has been attending Renaissance Kids since he was 15 months old. He's 3 years old now and loves his daycare! He talks about his teachers and friends all the time. Whenever I email a question to one of the managers or administrators, I always receive a quick reply back. The school is bright, beautiful, and clean. The children participate in quality programming including music, art, dance, drama, French, and more! The teachers are very caring, patient, and friendly.I've been especially impressed with how they have been handling the pandemic.They stayed open for children of essential workers and others who needed childcare. An RK@Home online option was available for virtual classes. The kids and teachers could stay in touch with each other through occasional Zoom parties=) When the kids gradually started returning to daycare, Renkids adapted the physical space as best they could to keep kids and families safe.I am a health care worker and a business owner. I sympathize with how challenging it is to keep a business running during this time. Even with government support, there are bills to pay, staff to manage, things to clean, new cleaning equipment to buy, and customers who you hope will be loyal and stay with you.The most important thing to me is that my child is happy, and he definitely is at Renkids! Thank you Renkids for being such a positive contribution to the Steveston and Richmond community.

My son has been attending the SPARK after school (and sometimes before school) care for a number of years, and we couldn’t be happier. He loves the different activities, teachers, and classmates. He has also attended many Wondercamps the last 2 summers and has really enjoyed exploring different themes and activities.

We have two kids attending Spark program and it was wonderful. They have amazing classes such as computer, art, and cooking, which allows kids to explore various interests. Staff are very approachable and collaboratively working together with parents. Kids enjoy attending their after school program and summer camps.Wonderful program and definitely highly recommended.

My sons both attended Renaissance Kids beginning at 18 months of age. One of them had unilateral hearing loss so extra assistance was always needed by the staff to follow through on recommendations by a hearing specialist who saw him at the school regularly. The classroom teachers would follow up with our family and the speech therapist on a daily basis to ensure my son was progressing steadily with his speech. The Renaissance Kids program focused on making sure my son was a well-round individual, both mentally and emotionally, by the time he graduated. The finearts classes in dance, music, drama and visual arts, taught within the curriculum, were invaluable in harnessing their creativity at a young age. My son graduated from Renaissance Academy and was accepted into a great private elementary school because of the commitment and dedication from the managers and teaching staff at the school. The owner of the company, Linda Shirley, regularly creates and supports different community and charitable initiatives and role models for students and families the importance of giving back to the community. It is clear that the team really cares about their students and takes great pride in advocating for young children. I would highly recommend this daycare centre to any family looking for a different form of education for their child...where the focus is not just academics but supporting the social and emotional growth of their students.

My daughter has been going to the Spark after school care program since she started Kindergarten, and we couldn't be happier with the services we receive there. Her after school care staff are wonderful; they are always responsive and kind, and the activities they organize for the kids are so varied. Heidi gets to enjoy a lot of different types of art, using different modalities, as well as a cooking course, computer course, and others. The program schedule also includes outdoor time and visits to the nearby playground when possible, which is lovely. Heidi wants to stay as long as possible every day, and I truly couldn't ask for a better place to have my daughter spend a few hours each day! In addition to her regular care hours during the school year (which include bus transportation from school) Heidi also participated in the Summer Wonder Camps and found these equally amazing! One focused on spa science and the other on baking. The stuff she came home with was incredible and we will definitely be registering for a few next summer. Thanks again!
