Great store for comics, super friendly staff who are willing to order in the books they don’t have in stock and are prompt with call backs. The reason for the 3 star review is I started using this store for my MTG needs as well and they just decided to re-focus the business on comics and so I’ve lost half the reason I go there.

SELL YOUR COMICS ELSEWHERE.Based on objective verification online & with another dealer, who would pay more, I believe that Steve underestimated the value of my early '80s (mostly 9.2/10) 104-book collection by at least $200. $200 (at the low end -- based on the online numbers of what buyers are willing to pay, it appears to be a lot more) may not seem like a lot, though if CBA comic buyer-employees consistently acts in this manner in all their transactions, if you multiply that by the # of customers CBA sees, it adds up.I don't begrudge CBA buying low/selling high, though this left me feeling deliberately deceived. It wasn't so much what Steve did, but the way that he did it -- there's more to this experience with details that I won't bore you with. It felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. This review does not speak to CBA's other employees, store culture, community, or customers.While one may argue that this review was based on the personal opinion of an uninformed consumer who thinks their collection is worth more than what buyers will pay for, I'm only speaking to facts, not opinion. I have no axe to grind, I do not work for one of CBA's competitors (at another comic book store) and this is an authentic, legitimate review -- after this experience, I did not buy anything from CBA, so technically I am not an actual customer of theirs.To provide some context into the nature of my reviews, note that I give credit where credit is due -- usually acknowledging outstanding customer service. It is rare that I give out bad reviews, and suffice it to say that if I do issue a bad review, it is well deserved.Caveat emptor -- let the buyer (or seller) beware.Should anything new occur since this review, I will update it accordingly. I welcome CBA to reach out to me on this matter.

Always a good experience at CBA. Store is clean, well organized, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It has moved downstairs so I don't know if there is an accessible entrance any longer. They are no longer selling individual MTG cards, but still have boosters and decks for sale. Huge selection of comics as always

Wide open space inside that is immaculate. They have been able to order any comics I haven't had time to pickup. Staff are very knowledgeable with almost every form of pop culture imaginable. Have been going here for years and will continue.

Good collection of comic books and slabs for sale. Got a bit frustrated going through the back issues as there were no dividers in the long boxes and I couldn't tell if there were any keys in the boxes either. Might go back if I have a few hours to kill.

Great comic store! They have everything from moderns to silver age books including keys! They have a great display of CGC books from spiderman to xmen to fantastic four and much more. They also have a warehouse downstairs with many raw issues. Lots of silver spideys if you're looking!

The staff was really friendly and helped my kids pick their first comic books. Very clean and bright store considering it is in the basement.

Awful, awful experience dealing with the owner of this store. I reached out regarding a specific book and we agreed on a price right away. He then asked for my address for a shipping quote which I gladly provided swiftly. After many attempts trying to get the final value of the order, he completely ghosted me over many days and then sold the book to someone else. Dude, why lead me on, super disrespectful and a waste of my time. Supper frustrating and I don’t recommend at all.

We aren't from the area, but we happen to be attending a nearby event and decided to check out this store. Friendly and helpful staff (shout out to Shaun who was giving us the lay of the land), and good selection of merch. It's also the first time that we were able to participate in Free Comic Book Day. Even though the free comic stock had been fairly depleted by the time we got there, we still walked out with some great selections. Our 7-year-old was happy when we left, so it was clearly a good visit. Thanks!

Introduced the animal kids to comics. They had a blast. The selection was amazing. I enjoyed looking at the silver and bronzed aged titles.
