GetMyBoat - Toronto Boat Rentals

I was researching private Boat Charters in Toronto for a surprise Birthday event. I was very concerned about how to go about chartering a boat without worrying about if the boat, rental and captain were legitimate. I also wanted to ensure the boat had insurance, was safe etc. I found GetMyBoat - Toronto Boat Rentals and was able to feel confident in reviewing the available charter boats, viewing photos and going through all of the guest reviews etc. I finely felt confident in my choice and booked. Nine of us travelled from Kingston ON and booked a cruise with Captain Matt and his beautiful boat. It was a great experience! Everyone had a fantastic time! Captain Matt was away watching his son play his first professional football game with the Ottawa Roughriders (so exciting) so he booked us with Captain Suzanne and line mate Jackson. They were wonderful hosts, very fun, informative and kind. It was an absolutely beautiful day on the water! We travelled the Toronto shore line, through Centre Island and back. Would definitely recommend chartering this boat. We will definitely be back!

It’s an easy website to use to book a boat rental. Keep in mind, the prices that people advertise don’t include the 10% fee that get my boat asks for.

The most horrible experience. Don't ever rent the luxury double decker yacht from JAY" in Toronto. Communication was terrible while planning as he took days to respond. Less than 1 hour of our departure he canceled on us with no warning and we were all headed downtown. He probably double booked or took a more expensive booking. We had booked this months in advance! Worst - avoid!"

This company is terrible. On August 17th, 2021 my friend planned her 20th birthday on a yacht. She made plans to come all the way from Niagara Falls to rent a yacht in hopes that we could enjoy her birthday doing something different. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans. Get My Boat made no attempt to reimburse my friend her $1700 even though we did not actually get to go on the yacht. This is terrible customer service given the circumstance, she should’ve been authorized a refund. Do not book with this company. Unprofessional.
