First time here and will not be returning. Our drink glasses and cutlery were all dirty and there was garbage under our table. Food is extremely overpriced for the quality you receive. Somehow 2 drinks and 2 dinners with one salad came to over $100. For that price I would’ve expected a clean restaurant with freshly made pasta, not clearly boxed ingredients that I could have made better at home. Also we never said we were done eating but had the bill dropped off at the table to us which is a clear indicator that our server was done her shift and wanted to leave. Overall a very disappointing experience and I suggest to anyone wanting to try this place to keep looking.

They have a true authentic Italian food. Best vegetarian options. And the customer service is amazing. Great people, great food. Whenever we have a trip to Gatineau, we make sure that we come here.

Decided to eat here tonight. Au contraire to other reviews, our service was good. HOWEVER, the food was ummmm NOT Italian at all...it was comparable to what a university student on a budget would/could make.SOUP- Sat in the pot too long. The pearl couscous was mushy. Flavor was there.ARANCINI- were over cooked. Tasted like old fryer grease, and risotto, if that's what it was, was also mushy. The aoli that accompanied it was discussing. A mayo based aoli with way too much oil.CARBONARA- had Sat on the pass way too long. I am sure it was ready at the same time our apps were. Not the typical pasta used and the pancetta was sliced charcuterie" style and not the traditional lardon styleSPAGHETTI BOLOGNE - barely any meat. it was literally

A great italian stop for good food, nice ambiance and a variety to choose from. From regular pizza to fancy taste. You’ll get your taste buds’ attention. Prices are with range and goes with your mood depending on what you feel you need to eat. Food looks and tastes as it should. No surprise but just a nice feeling to see and taste things normally. Staff is well informed and it’s always a nice touch to see one of the owners at work. The place is clean, enough space to not feel cramped even when full. A large room for special occasion and a “souvenir boutique” for thoses who wants to go take a few extras for homecookings. Breakfast dining is separate with a self grilled bread bar. Nice touch. Parking spaces available. And the restaurant is well located for any easy drive to. A must for discovering italian, long time fan and just a quick passer through in town.

For something that is not necessarily the most authentic, you will enjoy it since it’s adapted to Canadian and American palate, everything tasted real good and the server was lovely. Clean and nice ambiance. If you want Italian food, I recommend!

Had the lasagna mille-feuilles tomatoes roties noix et shitakakes. A mushroom lasagna...mostly pasta with very little flavor. Smaller size portion for a lasagna. Do not recommend. Overpriced for what you got. Popular family restaurant.

It isn't bad, but I feel like the quality and service has been lacking attention to detail the last few times I went.Our server was nice, but did not provide any instructions on how to use the bread bar, or offer pepper/parmesan after we received our pasta.The calamari and drink were delicious but the bare minimum of pasta sauce in my dish was lackluster, bland, and my breaded fish was soggy and anemic looking. A bit disappointing considering the price tag.I also have to note that the birthday songs that plays is so aggressively loud, it is impossible to hear anyone talk at your table unless you scream, or you simply have to awkwardly wait in silence for the loud noise to stop. I love the festivities, but that sound level is way too much hahaha

A little on the nostalgic side, but I stiil love the bread bar. Nice choice of thick bread slices, from oat to plain white, and plenty of different flavours of butter toppings to grill it with.The pasta and pizzas might not be smaller restaurant level, but definitely good, and washed down with deserrt and coffee, can't complain.

This place was chosen by someone on our party. Last minute for a Sunday lunch.Those of us who order basic fare were happy. Stay away from fancier duck pasta.Good service, good ambiance. Seceng wine.
