WOW. That one word sums up my experience with l’univers du plancher. They are beyond a doubt experts in the field! They did an amazing job sanding and varnishing the floor. They were able to almost perfectly match the finish of the original floor! You can barely tell there’s a transition from the room with the original finish to the hallway that was sanded. The price was very competitive and even underpriced especially when you consider the quality of the work. The few steps going down to the basement we’re poorly done by the previous contractor (different types of wood, short nails, no glue, creaking like crazy... we were able to remove one of the steps just by pulling on the step!). I had them redone properly by these guys and what a world of difference! Super solid construction that doesn’t creak and will no doubt last a lifetime! These guys are experts and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.

Such a great company to work with. They were on time and so clean! We sanded our entire first floor with the stairs and there was minimal dust, I was really impressed. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for wood staining/sanding services!
