I've used Capital City to maintain our furnace and ac for years and have never had anything but positive interactions!Most recently, Alex was here to service our units, found some issues with our 13 yr old furnace.Eric came out, same day, to give us options for a new furnace.

I could not be more happy with the work this company did when they installed my new AC and Furnace! I have no experience with HVAC and had a lot of questions. Capital City answered them all without making me feel foolish. They went above and beyond expectations, accommodating all of my customization requests. The team put in a 12 hour day and did an amazing job. Everything was well explained, the work area was left clean and the whole process was as smooth as could be. Very responsive and great service from the Capital City team. Solved my AC issues which were causing it to freeze up and put strain on the system and blower. Turned out my AC needed a recharge. All fixed up and blowing icy 10c air - highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of speaking to and meeting with Evan to discuss what we were looking for, and he was great to work with. He listened to what we were looking for, provided valuable insights into what we could expect from the various options, and did not try to upsell or push more expensive or unnecessary equipment on us. On the day of install, we were also very happy with the team that worked at the house, with the quality of workmanship, their attitude, their cleanliness, and the wrap up and payment. All in all I would recommend Capital City Heating and Cooling for your install and for honest treatment.

5/5 star. Called these guys when my furnace wasn’t working. I explained the issue and the guy talked me through the solution over the phone for free! It was an easy fix - ceiling breaker switch was switched off - but really appreciated him taking the time to run through these basic questions with me!

Alex was awesome!! Super friendly and knowledgeable, and was happy to explain everything in detail. Even during a heat wave, after calling late afternoon, they were able to send someone the next day and kept me updated with an eta status. Will definitely be using them going forward. Reasonable pricing too!

We decided to upgrade our heating & cooling system last fall and take advantage of the rebates being made available . Our A/C was originally installed in 1991 and the furnace was approximately 17 years old and due for replacement.Evan, the sales consultant, patiently walked us through the available options that qualified for the rebate program and made some great suggestions on why we should proceed with a furnace + heat pump versus a furnace + A/C unit. We decided on the former as it made the most sense.The installation team was excellent. They really paid attention to detail and re-routed some of the components to fit into our revised exterior design. Tim, the owner, walked us through the implementation, highlighting the differences we could expect with a heat pump. While he was here, he also made some suggestions & recommendations re: our air-to-air heat exchanger to both improve its performance and longevity.All in all it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Capital City Heating to anyone who is considering replacing or upgrading their heating/air conditioning system.

Excellent team. Our furnace had quit and Evan went above and beyond ensuring that my family and I had heat as soon as possible. The installers were fast, professional and polite. They installed the new Ecobee thermostat in such a way that it covered the underlying paint colour and explained the features. Little things like that are what sets this company above the rest. Would highly recommend.

My furnace and AC replacement experience couldn’t have gone any better with Capital City. My furnace died in the peak of winter and the team was there to help on very short notice. Their estimator’s knowledge and experience made it easy to review and choose which option was the right fit for me, all in a no-pressure setting.
