I love the brands that Marianne's carries which is why I chose to shop there but every time I go, I am shocked by the horrible customer service (until you get a room and one on one service). Without customers there is no business, so why not try to help us out? I went to Marianne's in June to find a bra to wear with my wedding dress. I waited over 45 minutes before someone had time to help me and while the one on one service was good and I found some great bras, my size was not in stock, so naturally I ordered it in early June and it still has not arrived. I have called twice to follow up and am told that it is coming... I even asked for confirmation that it was ordered and was told it's in the book".I was told the estimated delivery time would be 4-6 weeks and we are getting close to 3 months. I just don't understand why there is no urgency to try and resolve the mystery. Don't you want happy clients? I think I might just start finding online retailers

Many of my bra fitting experiences have been negative in the past. Other establishments here in and outside of Ottawa have made me feel like I'm not normal and that I don't have many options for my 34G chest. My experience at Marianne's was great today- I was made to feel like a human being and not an exception. My salesperson was wonderful, as she was approachable, honest, and extremely understanding of my needs. I am very happy and excited with my purchases.LADIES, there are options for you, and from what I can tell, Marianne's has a lot to offer their customers. My sense is that some customers might become frustrated when the shop is busy, and it's important for people interested in trying this place out to know that patience is completely necessary in making your experience a positive one. You have to try different things, and keep in mind that finding your size" is just about a range

Worst customer service I've ever received.I asked for help finding a size, the sales lady asked my sized and said that style doesn't come in that size" and she walked away.Maybe she could have shown me something that does come in my size...I wouldn't recommend shopping here

I have gone to Marianne's in the past but recently I had a very poor experience.I was getting a bra fitting and the employee helped me figure out my size. However the bra she gave me, didn't give me any lift and made my breasts look saggy. I asked if they had anything with more of a pushup. The sales person walked away in a huff, came back with another bra and said we don't have bras like they do at LaSenza." I tried on the bra she got me and she came in to check and said "see it doesn't fit properly". It felt like she didn't want my service and was trying to push me out of the store. I was considering one of the first bras she brought to me when her response was "well all bras are final sale. So if you're not 100%

I checked out this review board before I went to the store. The other Ottawa store that sells mastectomy bras is not open Saturday so I had no choice but went there not expecting much.Shopping for this sort of apparel is not easy for those of us who have had double mastectomies and didn’t have reconstruction.Orlanda was a perfect combination of helpful and letting me get on with trying all of them on without disturbing me.I love the advice and searching but I like to do the trying on without help or interruption.She was kind and sensitive to the situation.She helped me choose between the final two.Thank you, Orlanda for making this bra buy the best experience I’ve had in years.Pam Wilkinson.

Terrible customer service. Won't be going back ever again. I never really liked the store but the bra selection was a plus however after being there more than once and never really experiencing good client service I decided that I'm done with this store. Plus it's overpriced anyways...I had been measured in the past and was asked to be measured again and I declined. Was told that meant that nobody could assist me when trying on bras. Really??? I got measure three months ago, I really don't think it's necessary to do it again. Bye bye Marianne's

I ordered and paid for a bra in November 2019 and was told it would be available in 6 to 8 weeks. I’ve phoned repeatedly and was told they would phone when the bra was in. I have not received it after 7 months. The answering machine has been full for several weeks. This is not the service I’ve received from Marianne’s in past years. Since the change of ownership, the level of service and reputation of the business has disappointingly declined. I will not be patronizing this store in the future.

After sales service is a zero. The one girl was helpful when trying on bathing suits but after leaving spending nearly $400 in swimsuits, were never told that they were final sale, and the wrong size was grabbed for the most expensive suit purchased so now that’s $250 plus tax down the drain. Went to the manager and was basically told too bad so sad and was offered a pathetic discount on a next purchase.. Buyer beware, even if all tags and stickers are in tact and all you need to do is exchange a size, too bad, even when they don’t inform you of the final sale policy.

Right after Easter I made an appointment to get new mastectomy bras. On April 13 I met with the bra fitter, who told me the ones I wanted weren't in stock. Nor was the one I wanted to try as a possible alternative. She said she'd order some.Weeks later I had heard nothing so I called. That's when I learned the fitter had quit. I came by the store to find out what was happening with my order. I also called the manufacturer and learned that my order has been improperly faxed. I spoke the next day with the manager who had excuses, not solutions, but said she would make sure the order went through.Again, weeks passed. Today, May 20, I phoned the store. The sales clerk initially offered guesses and excuses but after some urging from me agreed to check on the order. That's when I learned that the bras I wanted were in stock ... and had been all along. The hitch, apparently, was that I asked nude" or "beige" rather than "latte" -- which is

I had an excellent experience at Marianne's Boutique. As soon as I walked into the store I was met by an elder lady. I told her my problem areas and she helped me find my proper size as I haven't bought a new swim suit in years. After finding my right size she started pulling bathing suits off the racks for me. She was with me for at least 1/2 an hour. Very pleased with the service and I got 20% of my purchase.
