Shoppers Drug Mart

This pharmacy is the worst I have ever dealt with. I have been coming here for over a year for the exact same medication and the same dosage for years before I came here. This place routinely give the wrong amounts and doesn't auto refill even though I have requested this multiple times. Which means I have to go into the pharmacy and request the right things far too often. Also the wait times are horrendous. I am highly recommending you stay far away. I am going to go through the process of switching as this has gotten out of hand and I'm done

For a highly regarded Pharmacy, they really need to start hiring more Pharmacy staff to open their store during the times it should be open. Their hours have been shortened from 10pm to now 6pm or 7pm even though the sign says Open until 10pm. Terrible reputation for Shoppers since every single pharmacy in town can open later. Also they don't open even open on holidays so no you do not offer incredible convenience" to customers as posted on your website. We are still in a pandemic

The same pharmacy assistant keeps giving me the runaround. On Saturday, she said there were 4 prescriptions on my file but when the 4th wasn't filled and I started asking questions about when it should be ready, my doctor suddenly hadn't faxed it in. I had them send it in again and when I called today to ask a few questions about it, the same assistant couldn't answer any questions, wasn't making any sense and ended the call after placing it on hold to pretend to look into it. She did not call me back so it's not a mistake.Thank you to the competent and professional pharmacist I spoke with when I called back. They quickly answered my questions and it finally made sense why they weren't filling the prescription. It's just disappointing it took so long.

Had an amazing experience yesterday with the beauty manager Brittany! She helped me find a whole new skincare routine and was extremely knowledgeable. She’ll be my go-to from now on :)

Prescription for an inhaler called in by my doctor 5.5 hours age. Here I wait for 15 minutes. It’s an inhaler, you put a label on it. How was it not done within 5.5 hours.

I survived Liver cancer 12 years ago, through a liver transplant. The major part of my surviving this transplant is to take a series of anti-viral & Anti- rejection medications. Daily for the rest of my life. Without fail.I signed up for Online prescription refill with an auto refill. By and large spotty reliability. But liveable until now.Logging on line (to the My Shoppers account) to see my status on November 1, and discovered it wasn’t fulfilled. Seeing that, I hit the refill button. An alert came up stating that my anti-rejection drug would be ready Thursday November 3, after 1pm. Went into my Shoppers (Port Elgin) at 7pm and discovered THEY NEVER RECEIVED MY REQUEST FOR MY LIFE SAVING DRUG.The pharmacist said the will fill the prescription now, but it won’t show up till the following week.I took my last pill this morning (Friday November 4) and won’t have another life saving pill until Monday November 7 (maybe).Please Do Not Use Shoppers Drugmart online prescription refill service. THEY ARE NOT AT ALL CONNECTED TO YOUR LOCAL PHARMACY.

Never been more frusterated with this pharmacy until now..I'm almost ready to switch to another. Not once but twice no I have had to go without very important medications that cannot be missed. My one injection medication is critical it needs to admistered at the same day Weekly..it cannot be missed I was told umm we don't have any of that in" when I placed my order well over a week ago. These medications are important and it's beyond unacceptable that I now have to go without until whenever they come in. I work full time as I cannot afford to miss work because I am in unbearable pain."

This location implemented “temporary” hours over a year ago. A Shoppers, especially the only one in the area, closing at 7pm is ridiculous.

They improperly Disprensed my Anti Depressant medication. Which is gross Neglegence. When it comes to anti Depressants you don't screw around. If a person isint given the proper medication dosage and something happens the shoppers Listowel could be held legally liable for gross incompetence.. I literally went to Shoppers Listowel, 12:50 Tuesday June 28th to have them exchange my pills for the proper dosage. This is inexcusable and the person who filled my prescription needs to be terminated immediately. I am also going to file a complaint with shoppers drugmart Head Office as well as this should have never happened. They are in a postition of power over the medication they prescribed and if they misprescribe medication then they are not Fit to work there. I'm totally Disgusted with them and clearly cannot be trusted filling medication refills.I have attached 2 images. The one image shows C220 which is what I'm supposed to get. Where as the photo on the right shows C210 this means they gave me the wrong medication which is 10mgs less then I'm supposed to be taking. Again gross incompetence.

Filing a formal complaint. Worst.pharmacy.ever. my daughter was diagnosed with SEVERE disease and she had a large prescription to fill. They only had part so were ordering more. Fine, come back a few days later, down to my last half day supply of her meds and they only ordered 1 PART BOTTLE, not even a 2 day supply when the prescription was for 2 weeks... no one could answer why they would order so little. I had to run around to find part bottles to keep me going until they got more supply... again. She absolutley cannot just stop the medicine and they had zero empathy, said well nothing we can do until trucks come in. They also gave me soooo much trouble to get a week supply of the medication... couldnt understand why I needed more than one bottle. One bottle only does 2 days of meds and like I said she cannot just stop the meds, its winter and I wanted to make sure I had lots because we were travelling to Hamilton often.That is just the tip of the iceberg with my experience.
