Earlton Motel

Decent little motel. The rooms were nice enough and clean. There isn't any staff on site, you have to call them, that's the only reason for 4 stars.

We were on a ferry flight across Northern Quebec/Ontario, and we had to put down in Earlton due to weather. Our plan was to stay in Englehart for the night, but the cab ride was horrendous, so we figured we'd check and see what was available in town. By time we'd booked our rooms, the lady at the counter(also the owner) agreed to come and get us from the airport, free of charge. Then she checked us in and drove us downtown for dinner, also free of charge. The rooms were as clean and tidy and certainly met my expectations for a little motel on the side of the highway, but the service was bar-none. The (owner) got up and drove us back to the airport at 0530 in the morning so we could beat the weather as well.

Okay I can't say much about the location but really the rooms are great and price you can't beat.. the view was amazing the check in process was speedy. Lots of parking

Owners very friendly & very accommodating. Rooms were clean & spacious. About 20mins from New Liskeard. Very good price, about 2mins from snowmobile trail. Left our truck & trailer there at no extra cost. Definitely worth checking out.

Very clean and folks are very nice. Older place, so a bit outdated, but comfortable and clean. Keep in mind though, there's no coffee nearby.

I wouldn't want my dog to stay here. I dont know who's bar of soap that was in the tub but it was well used. It was nice of them to turn all the stains on the sheets downward. I couldn't even sit on the bed without thinking how gross it was. I left...put my keys on the counter and walked out after 10 minutes in the room. I didn't ask for my money back....I just left I was so grossed out. I just needed a clean room and shower for a few hours so I could get back on the road.....they couldn't pull it off.

Air conditioner did not work. The heat wasn't unbearable, and it was late, so we decided not to ask for a room switch that night. The next morning when we informed management, they insisted that the air conditioner had never had problems. I couldn't understand why a simple apology, or a small credit, wasn't offered. Will not be staying here again. For roughly the same price the Econolodge 15 minutes south on 11 is a better option.

The owner was very nice. The room was clean , two large beds, TV, microwave and fridge. We would stop here again. As a side note, you can hear the traffic going by on the highway, but it wasn't a big deal.
