Samosa House
Wow, delicious samosas (we had beef) and very tasty wings. The bbq sauce on the wings tasted homemade and I want the recipe! This place is open late until midnight, which is great on a Friday or Saturday night after some drinks.

Food was great and service was friendly if a bit slow. Its a very casual place but don't let that deter you. My boyfriend said the ribs were unbelievably good & my falafel was excellent. The rice was tasty as well. Loved their hot sauce.

Lovely woman who makes the samosas from scratch, she makes awesome samosas by the way! Try the fish ones. Great guy works the front, makes the best Mango shake I've ever had! Great prices, tasty Basbaas sauce, really good pineapple pound cake!A little hole in the wall you could easily walk past but it's SO worth going inside!

My first experience of Somali food was in the early 2000's and it was entirely positive. The food was simple and excellent and the people were wonderful. Those first few Somali restaurants struggled but, they've found a niche here now and, they're well worth a visit. They're like the best Mom & Pop restaurants I grew up with in small town Alberta. Simple food, served by really nice people who are proud of what they cook and want to feed you.The Samosa House is one of the best examples of this kind of down-home casual cafe-restaurant. I fist came here a couple years ago and have been back often. The food is a bit of a mix but is basically Somali. I've always enjoyed eating here, the service is warm and friendly and the food is great. If take-out is your game. They have a thriving business in takeaway meals and Samosas too.I also come here for the cakes and coffee. It's normal, brewed coffee but they add seasonings to it that I absolutely love. They've told me what's in the coffee but I made myself forget so that I have an excuse for returning here every time I'm in the area. The baked treats tend to vary and I always stop to see what's available. This is one of my favourite cafe's in Edmonton. Casual, friendly, and informal. I heartily recommend a visit.

So far so fricken flavour bomb central with the samosas! I usually prefer veggie ones but the beef ones here taste so homemade but in a good way and the fish ones r flavour bomb. 1 more star if they would added potato in the veggie ones! The green dipping sauceProvided is so good. will be back to try other items soon I hope.

Really really delicious samosas, they are so so good!! I had the veggie and the beef samosas and they were amazing. They were out of sauce when we came and they couldn't do fries because they were changing the oil in the fryers, so that was a bit disappointing. But still, I highly recommend this authentic spot!

Very delicious and unique samosas. Always fried fresh when you order, has a nice crunch to it. They have other food as well, but I stick with the vegetable samosas, so good! Friendly service.
