We had our central vac breakdown over the holidays at a super inconvenient time. We ran over to John and he immediately worked with us to help repair it, saving us a lot of money and even giving us a larger motor in the vac. He was extremely helpful and incredibly timely, best service we ever got on an appliance!! Thanks John!!

It's been over 20 years since I've needed service at Vac Shack since their vacuums last so long. I was treated like a King when I needed to replace our old beater bar and have a switch fixed on the hose. What also impresses me is the fact that the central vac - The Soliroc 2000 - just keeps ticking after 28 years of use. Thanks guys!

I’ve been going to this place forever (2 or 3 decades if not more!) and they are, without a doubt, THE best vac. repair place in Ottawa! Decent prices, more than decent service and knowledgeable. Closed @ 2 pm daily so get there before! Free street parking.

Extremely honest, thanks for repairing the hose connection on my vac, when you could have just as easily sold me a new one at many times the cost. I would not have known the difference. This is why I will always take my sad old vacs to you and why you get 5 stars. It's nice to still have honest repair shops around. ❤️

I was looking for a high quality vacuum cleaner, as I have two high shedding dogs, and the owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. He directed me to the German made SEBO brand, and pointed out all the reasons why it's a great vacuum. His shipments have been affected with covid, but he called me within days to tell me he got the one I wanted in stock. I haven't needed to use him for maintenance yet, but I've heard great things from the people that referred me to his store.
