I am a professional wedding photographer based in Scotland who first got introduced to Gabe's work at a wedding photography seminar. I was instantly hooked on his photographs - the way he captures such raw emotion and light is second to none. When travelling to Canada for a family holiday, I messaged Gabe to see if he had any availability for a Connection Session with my partner and I. I was over the moon, and slightly shocked, when he came back to me with his July availability. I instantly booked the first available date and the countdown commenced!To say I was more excited for the photo shoot than for the entire Canada holiday is an understatement. I had high expectations for the photographs, perhaps higher than most due to being someone in the industry. Gabe surpassed ALL of my expectations. The pedestal I had him on has now elevated to the Gods!I was completely overwhelmed, gobsmacked and just over come with every emotion when I first looked at our gallery. Gabe has created magic, and with minimal fuss and effort. He is truly gifted, and not only that, he's great banter too!BOOK GABE! Give him all of your money, it's soooo worth it.

Gabe did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding photos. There isn’t a single photo we didn’t fall in love with. On the day of, he went above and beyond. My husband & I can both be uncomfortable in front of groups of people & cameras but we felt comfortable around Gabe. He has a very kind & friendly demeanor that makes it easy. We knew the photos would be wonderful but we really got emotional looking through the photos when we got them back. They truly capture our emotion beautifully. We would absolutely recommend him to you if you are in search of a photographer for your day, don’t hesitate!

If you want jaw dropping, professional photography that incorporates the natural landscape and isn't your run of the mill, every other person's wedding photos - this is it; I say he should be considered as crucial as your wedding planner selection, location, (maybe even spouse....jk).On the day of our wedding, we handed him a **** sandwich (a story too long for here). He rolled with the punches and still captured everything as though chaos wasn't ensuing. In fact, we owe him for his directives; without them, we would largely have memories of the turmoil rather than beautiful photos that encapsulate the intent of the wedding.From the onset, we had booked a second day (after the wedding) for a portrait session in the mountains - recommendation: DO THIS. Gabe accommodated my requests for settings/styles which may not be his usual (and those photos are equally as phenomenal) but where he really shines is in dramatic outdoor settings that will end up looking like a magazine cover. I mean mind blowing. I don't like average, and I got what I was looking for. He was also very patient with us as we were late that day and lost out on some good day lighting....a quality which is highly commendable for a photographer given that makes things infinitely harder them.Reception setup photos - 10/10, ceremony - 10/10 (and again, his directives were vital), portrait session - 10/10.Our journey with Gabe was fluid, professional, enjoyable, and worth every single cent. He's also a cool dude to boot. He genuinely played a huge part in turning a tough situation into a warm and beautiful memory; we will always be grateful.

Edit: 5/13/22Gabe is just beyond what I can fit into this review. He was absolutely the person I needed for my wedding in Banff and just executed his work so beautifully for the occasion. I was definitely intimidated working with a renowned photographer, but he was so fun to work, humble and very kind. It's sometimes hard for someone who does photography to be pleased with something so personal to them but Gabe just knocked it out of the park for me. He exhibits the same excitement and energy from someone who's passionate about his art. I just enjoyed watching him bounce out to the dark cold frozen lake without any concern and get excited about doing the shoot. That means so much to me because it bridges that connection for me and makes me trust that he truly understands the vision of my wedding. Also, at the very end, when I was stuck out in the ice storm with my foot frozen and swollen, Gabe piggybacked me back to land. Just a trooper.He is without a doubt, my favorite part of the wedding, besides getting married of course, but it comes pretty close!

After months of planning our vision via email, Gabe trekked out to Mexico to meet us in the Yucatán jungle. My husband and I were married in the trees next to a cenote, and Gabe clamored around like a tropical mountain goat to capture every moment. After the ceremony Gabe even found an accessible beach for a golden hour photo shoot. I couldn’t be more grateful to have had Gabe as part of our experience. He lent me his flip flops when my feet started to hurt, and he captured the most spectacular wedding photos I could have hoped for- beyond my imagination. Gabe is incredibly talented and personable and generous with his footwear. The photos he will capture of your wedding will be irreplaceable.

If you are looking for the best of the best, then Gabe is truly your guy. If you have a penchant for the dark, moody and mysterious with some serious “otherworldly” light play, look no further! Gabe is worth Every. Single. Penny!We are beyond thrilled with our wedding photos. I’m an artist by trade so my expectations were unnaturally high. Gabe “blew our minds” with his artistic talent, and he was so much fun to work with. We will never forget the awesome adventure he led us on atop of “the Rock” at Moraine Lake.Thank you Gabe!
