The shelves were lookin kind of empty, but I still found what I was looking for. I LOVE the specials they have every week. The young lady at the til was very polite, made eye contact and was clear when she spoke .. as did the other young lady who was training her.

Went today to partycity to get ballons . First we stand there for 5 minutes, nobody came to help us. Then a girl brought two customers and helped them while we were waiting before them. Then i went to her saying we want these ballons with helium, we were responded rudedly it will be 2.50 each. I said politely yah that’s fine. Then she told us to wait for 5 minutes. Now we’re leaving after waiting 10 minutes there and seeing 4 worked gossiping and roaming around while we’re waiting in front of them.

Other than the people barring you from shopping in order to sign you up for one of their credit cards, and they don't have the synthetic engine oil my car takes, or the kitchen equipment, a pastry brush, and their staff are less than helpful, but the cashiers are nice as in friendly and the line wait is extraordinary.... yeah the stars reflect my experiences.

I had a pleasant experience with a young man named James tonight! He was super welcoming and kind and I hope he gets the recognition from this review because guest experience is such an important part of going into a storeI will avoid certain stores because of how staff are treated or how staff treat guests. James made this experience very enjoyable!

UPDATE: nothing has changed here.Depending on the day I'm checking the website, the mini basketballs I'm after show from 0 to 477 in stock in aisle 33. I've been in twice already looking for these so I decided to try the curbside pick up this time. Now the messages tell me to look for the designated signs at the store, which I figured would be OUTSIDE for the duration of this transaction. Nothing seems to be going on outside, but I notice the ONLINE SHOPPING sign in the doorway at the north end of the building. Okay, I guess I'll go inside then, so far, so good, right? Wrong,,, we could not figure out if there was a difference between curbside and in-store pick up and there are no signs for curbside anywhere. I mean, if there's no difference then why offer two choices at checkout? There are nice bright green arrows painted on the floor for IN-STORE pick up, again nothing for curbside.We see a room behind a red theater style curtain in what used to be the automotive service waiting area. No attendants were handy, but there's a button to press if you want service. Still not sure if I'm in the right place, I go into the area just to see if this is the right place before summoning a rep from who knows where. Sure enough, it is! Super easy to find my bag because it's only half of the stuff I ordered so I took it off the shelf. Okay, we're finally getting somewhere but WAIT!... You can't actually leave via the same door as you entered, nowhere even close for that matter. Since I have to go through the store anyway, I decide to pick up a couple of things and check my phone to see where they are located and mid as well see if those mini balls are back in stock too. Canadian Tire has a unique numbering system that work like one of those mazes you see on kids' happy meal boxes. Aisle 33 is pretty straight forward (I've been been here already, right?) but if you're trying to find aisle 79, you're in for an adventure in wandering, they have a few mystery rows that don't appear to exist in real life.Three trips in less than two weeks gets me two half price boxes of clear garbage bags.___________My shopping trip in April:Two credit card sales people greeted us as we entered the store today, not my favorite shopping experience at any time. Nicely organized store jam packed with a lot of miscellaneous household and automotive stuff. I was here to pick up a curtain rod from aisle 54 and it was exactly where the online shopping stated. Lots of parking.Checkout didn't like the Google pay phone app and I had to use an actual card and PIN for a $10 item.

Today my partner and I went in to return a vacuum that didn’t work. I waited in the car and I saw him walking out with the product, followed by all the security guards coming after him, screaming at him and verbally insulting and attacking him because they thought he stole it. At least 5 security guards, 4 staff members and whoever else for one person walking out with a product, receipt in hand. To add to it, someone with a fake dollar store police badge also joined and some crusty old clown who claimed he was the store manager joined and continuously kept calling us ‘faggots’ and kept threatening us.My partner has severe mental health issues, and we’re trying to find the correct medication for him so he’s on edge and can be not himself through this process. We left the parking lot and he leaned on my shoulder and he cried for hours asking why everyone hates him and doesn’t want him around.My partner also tried to kill himself yesterday. Because of the actions of the Canadian Tire staff and management. There’s no excuse for such disgusting behaviour.

This Canadian tire off south fraiser way in Abbotsford is a large store, has a big parking lot, I noticed there was a lot of staff working if u needed help finding anything. They had a party section and alot of large fake plants which I haven't seen at many other locations. We were looking to pre-order an air conditioner and the customer service was great, untill the manager told me I wasn't allowed to take pictures in the store. Not sure what that's about.

I have been shopping there for years and spent hundreds of dollars there. i bought a gift for friend $129. He already had 1 so i put it in my car and it stayed in there for 4 days till my day off from work. when i went to return it the kid at customer service opened the box and said it was used. (the box had never been opened till she opened it) i said i never touched it. it has been sitting in my car since the day i bought it. then she said she couldn't return the propane because it may have been used. (this is after they had walked away with it out of my site for an extended period of time.) Then another kid said sorry we cant return this because you used it. that was lie. i never touched it. it sat in my car for 4 days and wasn't opened until she opened it. I really don't think they should have minors working customer service because now i have something that has been opened and is completely useless to me. im not thrilled at all. so if you plan on buying a gift for somebody go elsewhere because they will try everything to not refund you.

I was buying a set of 4 floor mats for my truck. Clearly they had been returned and zap strapped together and put back on shelf the only one left on shelf. I asked for a discount because they had no packaging and clearly had been opened and returned and zap strapped back together... The manager Emily came over and I explained the situation she just looked at me and frowned and said no discount and there is nothing wrong with the product... This was very unproffesional and I am very dissapointed in the manager charging me full price on product that is supposed to be new on shelf! It was missing packaging and had been zap strapped together and put back on the shelf likely after a return... Very unproffesional attitude and mannerisms by this manager poor customer service skiils and borderline rudeness and no appology. More training for your management team on customer interactions would be a good start. This person was not nice and had an attitude problem. Very dissapointed in a store where i spend a lot of money! One positive the cashier was very appologetic and friendly clearly had customer service skills her boss did not! Very disaapointed.
