Twelve Oaks Flooring

Worst luxury vinyl flooring ever used. I have installed vinyl plank in many rooms in my house without any problem. 12 oaks is the worst as it does not stand up.I installed this only 2 years ago and this is the result. Has the company rep come out for a warranty claim and he tried to find things wrong. In the end the company said that they could not verify it was installed as per directions because they could not take off the baseboard and trim to verify if there is a gap in the install process (which I did and told them I did). Would not honour the warranty and now I am stuck.

My husband and I have been looking for LVP flooring for 6 months and finally came across Twelve Oaks LVP. I was unsure about the colour so I messaged the company on instagram asking for more photos. Within an hour they responded and sent me multiple photos of the LVP in different houses and with different lighting. Can’t say enough good things about this company’s customer service and the quality of their vinyl.

Twelve Oaks flooring products are the best! Super easy to install, one person with no prior training can do it. The tongue and groove system clicks in nicely, and it is obvious when you have installed it correctly.We loved that you can cut it with a chop saw, or you can run your utility knife across it and snap it if you don't want to make a mess (great for winter installs).We did our basement with waterproof Solidcore, and liked it so much that we are doing our entire upstairs floor, and the stairs! Great for parties with easy clean ups, boards don't swell with spills.Great customer service as well! Five stars highly recommend.

We purchased Twelve Oaks flooring in True Natural. We had it installed on the entire main floor (including bathrooms) With 4 kids and a dog it’s held up amazing so far! Highly recommend

We installed our Twelve Oaks vinyl flooring in April 2022. Within a few months we noticed the bevel paint chipped all over our brand new floors - including close to the walls and under furniture. Within 9 months of the install, it was evident there was a significant problem, I called Twelve Oaks who referred me back to the company I purchased it from to start a warranty process.The company sent a rep, who couldn’t believe the damage, took pictures and submitted a claim. Then Twelve Oaks sent their rep, Dion, who as soon as he found out we had a pet, he made immediate assumptions that obviously the damage was done by our medium size French bulldog (not a large breed by any means). Dion told us he even went as far as taking pictures of our pet.Twelve Oaks denied our claim stating if I bought a car and it got paint chips, would I complain to the car company. To which I say, if after only a few months the paint was all chipping off, then absolutely. The rep, Dion, then suggested that he might be able to get paint from the manufacturer, as if I am supposed to get down on my hands and knees and paint the chipped bevels on my flooring for the next twenty years. Dion was unprofessional, rude and condescending. I was told if I didn’t agree I could pay to have an independent company assess my flooring and then they MAY reconsider. So now I would not only be out the value of my flooring, but also hundreds if not thousands to pay for an independent assessment (the cost of assessment + travel expenses).We originally purchased enough flooring for both levels so I had to go ahead and install the flooring on second level as the carpet had to be removed. When opening the boxes we noticed that the brand new boards coming out of the boxes has the same paint chipping (proof it wasn’t the pet)!!! See video. We were instructed to take videos and they are still saying they need more proof.It’s now been over 5 months and the company has denied my claim, said no one else has complained about this same issue, so obviously my claim is not valid. I told them, then let me be the first to raise the red flag and say there is a quality concern issue.The flooring is beautiful, but buyer beware. Apparently honouring a 25 year warranty doesn’t mean anything except blaming the customer, demands for private inspections (at your cost), being treated poorly and stuck with brand new yet damaged unsightly floors.

Twelve Oaks customer service on instagram was helpful in our flooring selection. I was struggling to find an install picture of the flooring sample we were considering and they were quick to find finished install photos. Looking forward to getting our floors installed soon!

I would 100% recommend using LVP from Twelve Oaks. We purchased this flooring for our second floor in the spring. I was able to install it by myself room by room, I would say anyone could install this. We bought the Surewood LVP - 20 mil wear layer - colour Art District.We also have 3 kids and animals and live on a farm and so far has held up great. We will definitely be doing our main floor using this company when the time comes.

The Twelve Oaks Vinyl Flooring isn't a durable product. The locking mechanisms are brittle and break if installed on a subfloor that has any give (if you have one of those mass produced suburbia homes like most of us, your subfloor wont be sufficient for this product). We replaced the cheap looking laminate that was in our house when we moved in 10 years ago with Twelve Oaks Vinyl and a year an a half later we have cracks and peeling on all of the end joints. That cheap flooring had no issues, we just reconfigured our kitchen so we couldn't keep it.This product may work on a perfectly level cement floor, but 1000% do not recommend installation on a plywood subfloor.Similar to other reviewers, we had a rep from Twelve Oaks out to look at our issues, and the rep cited issues with our subfloor (the same subfloor that was perfectly fine for the previous flooring that probably cost 1/4 the price).
